Course Curriculum Overview

Seeing current trend in Electronics and communication engineering I decided to choose this course the curriculum prepares good for real world application or further academic pursuits. The frequency and timing of exams are good on their difficulty level.

Class Size: 4Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The percentage of students who got placed is 70%. The lowest and the average packages are 1.20 LPA and 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Amazon, and Adani Green Energy. The percentage of students got internships about is 12%, I don't know. Top roles offered is a web developer.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, everyone can take the college placement exam. Companise like IBM Subros TCS visited in this college campus. Highest package was 6 lakhs and average package was 3 lakhs per annum. About 60percent student got placed previous year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees 60000 ruppes I will paying. The tution fess is 250000 for 4years and one time regestration fees 2600 is payable and all the others fees is included in tution fees. No category wise fee waiver. Many Scholarships are provided from the state government and central government like SVMCM and NSP and OASIS and also many private scholarship are given

Campus Life

There are no annual and technical festivals. The accessibility of books from the college library is pretty good. Around 2000 books are available in the library. Sports and extracurriculum activities are not available.

Admission

I have not applied to any other college before. I choose this college because it is near my house. No, I have not received rejection from any college because I have not applied to any other college.there are a system of direct admission in this College.

Faculty

The faculty-to- students ratio is too good for my,Electronics and conmmunication Engeeneiring department has 4 faculty and Department has above 50 student including 4th year. Two semester exams in a year exams are difficult around 50 percent students are faill previous year

Interview Experience

There is no written test to take admission in our college. Direct admission is done in our College and admission is done through WBJEE Counsiling. Also admmission is done through JEE mains and josaa counsiling.

Night Life

In this college campus there are no Hostel. This type of Worst campus I have never seen in my life. There are no famous hang out places near college campus or in college campus. Yes the locality safe to roam arounf at night.

A comprehensive review of MAKAUT , WB

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

ELIGIBILITY FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT: At Brainware University students generally become eligible for campus placement from the final years of their course. For many programs placemnet preparation sactivities such as aptitude training, soft skills development, resume building, mock interviews begin earlier, you can say that these activities are incoporated from the 1st semester itself. COMAPINES VISIT: Several reowned and reputed compaines from IT, management,healthcare,media, and core sectors visits the university for campus recruitment. Placement drive include companines from domains such as software services, consulting,education,sales digital marketing etc. For my domain CSE AIML companies like Infosys,Amazon,Cognizant,Adobe etc visits. Each year multiple students receive job offers through campus drives and some students also secure multiple offers depending on their skills and performance. HIGHEST AND AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED: The highest package offered varies by course and recruiter and also with top performing students receive highest packages based on their role requirements and skills. It range from 12 LPA to 45 LPA. The average package offered to students is competitive for a private university and aligns with industry standards for entry level roles. These generally range from 3.5 to 8 LPA. PRECENTAGE OF STUDENTS GETTING PLACED: Placement outcome mostlky depend on academic performance, attendance, communication skills, technical knowledge, and participation in training sessions. Students who actively engage in placement preparation have better placement success. About 98% students were placed in 2023. Placement was average if you have good background knowledge so you will definitely get placed. After 7th semester companies started coming and also there is different criteria for all companies like some company required more than 8 CGPA that completely dependent on company preferences. Students become eligible for campus placement starting from 6th semester ,meanwhile u can also get paid internship from 5th semester itself .The companies which visited the campus most frequently are Cognizant ,TCS ,Infosys ,IBM ,PwC ,BMC ,Tavisca ,Wipro ,Amazon .Tavisca provided over 12 LPA while BMC provided over 14 LPA ,meanwhile in 2024 ,a new record of highest package emerged which is of 21 LPA.The Average package is 480,000 rupee CTC .Over 80 to 90% of students are placed and the college has a very good alumni network which provides u with referrals and possible jobs.I plan to join a IT company after getting my degree

The admission process is too easy than any other colleges, basically there are no cut-off priority till now. If I say eligibility of the course then you have to be passed 12th exam with minimum 60? marks in PCM. And you have to sit in WBJEE Or JEE exam. The Rank card is must for admission. Course in a tough situation

I know Global institute of technology and management college where I started my Btech in mechanical engineering course is one of the great college in west Bengal for Btech but in these period during lock down causes of covid 19 our classes are not going very well. But although teachers are doing there best for teaching us all subjects and they also supporting us all the time. So I thik this will be a new experience with all of this.
