Good Faculty but Average Campus Life

Likes

Teachers were supportive and explained topics in a simple way. Basic computer subjects were taught properly.
The campus environment was calm and discipline was good. Staff behaviour was decent and helpful during admission.
Labs and classroom facilities were okay for BCA. Notes and study materials were provided for exam preparation.

Dislikes

Placement support was not strong for BCA students. More skill based training and guidance is needed.
The fee felt slightly high compared to facilities. Some extra charges were there during the session.
Management and communication can be improved. Sometimes updates were late and students had to ask again.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was relevant for beginners and covered important computer subjects like programming basics, DBMS, networking, and computer fundamentals. It helped in understanding the foundation of IT and software. However, the curriculum needs more practical sessions, coding practice, live projects and industry level skills. Exams were conducted semester wise with internal assessment, and the difficulty level was moderate. Overall the curriculum is good for basics, but it should be updated with more modern topics and practical learning.

Likes

Faculty members are too good and well educated
Placement record is decent not too good.

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not so good clasroom and lab lack of morden instrument

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, everyone can take the college placement exam. Companise like IBM Subros TCS visited in this college campus. Highest package was 6 lakhs and average package was 3 lakhs per annum. About 60percent student got placed previous year.

Likes

The Faculties are very helpful and kind.
The Campus is well maintained and large also.
There are many options for choosing course.

Dislikes

The cultural programs are lesser than any other college.
The college have huge resources but there are some little bit problem in management.

Placement Experience:

I don't have any proper details on that but according to me a student is eligible for campus placement after 6th semester. The highest package in last 3 years is 7 LPA from Byjus. And if I say average package then it is 3.6 LPA.

The faculty members are really helpful and talented
The office staff are really helpful and help us regarding the scholarships
The campus is very bug and well decorated

I've chosen the course on the basis of my personal interest. The faculty: student ratio is fair and about 1:7 The faculty members are really helpful and teach really well. The term exams were on time and they were easy to moderate to pass

Course in a tough situation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I know Global institute of technology and management college where I started my Btech in mechanical engineering course is one of the great college in west Bengal for Btech but in these period during lock down causes of covid 19 our classes are not going very well. But although teachers are doing there best for teaching us all subjects and they also supporting us all the time. So I thik this will be a new experience with all of this. But one thing they always putting us pressure for submit money I mean fees from one month ago of the submission date of our fees. Nothing else just hoping for the best for future.

Remarks:

The very college is suitable to build ones career no doubt. Everything is perfect over here. Canteen is also there Which provides good food. But one thing They need be concerned, There is no hostel facility by now
