Remarks

The college is ranked as the best private engineering college in India currently. It has a great placement scenario and has great infrastructure. The campus is happening and the clubs help you to pursue your dreams

Course Curriculum Overview

There is a wide variety of courses offered here. There are a number of specializations in each course like IoT network security DBMS etc. The exams are in 3 parts namely CAT 1 CAT 2 and FAT and there are 2 quizzes and 1 assignment. The cats are of 15marks the quizzes and assignments 10marks each and fat of 40marks.

Placement Experience

The placement is quite good and major companies like Microsoft and amazon along with many other companies visit the college for placement. The internships are offered by the college and most of them have a stipend with it.

College Events

There are multiple hackathons and competitions happening all around the year. Several cultural clubs organize many performances and technical clubs provide projects. Riviera is the main cultural event and is one of the best in INDIA whereas Gravitas is the main technical fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is distributed along with different categories which increase with decreasing rank. It ranges from 140k to 250k INR depending upon the category including the staying expense. The fee us on the feasible side as compared to other colleges

Fees and Financial Aid

The institute offers up to 75% fee waiver on tuition fees depending upon the rank. The 1st rank holder is given an additional scholarship. The Indian bank which has a partnership with the college gives out loans.

Campus Life

There are several extracurricular activities in VIT almost every type of sport is played on this campus. Swimming pools, basketball courts, tennis cricket football are to name a few. Other clubs like dance poetry and technical are present. The labs are excellent and sponsored by tech giants like Jonson controls and Cisco.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very friendly and the campus totally ragging-free. Due to the placement of seniors in good companies, they help you to get good internships and guide you through great opportunities.

Admission

The college takes its own entrance exam the VITEEE which includes chemistry physics English maths/biology which totals 125marks and has no negative marking. Physics chemistry maths/biology weigh 40marks each and English for 5marks. Biology is for biotech and biochemistry courses and maths for the rest

Faculty

The faculties are well qualified mostly from IITS NITS. Most of them have completed their PhD and they are quite friendly and helpful. The curriculum is followed strictly by the faculties and the correction done in a transparent manner.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
