Faculty members are very good in teaching
College campus is very good for the students to learn and study
The principal and vice principal takes good care of the college

Dislikes

The students washroom is very dirty and it's unhygienic
Continues four hour class and theres no break in between
There's no sufficient water in the washroom for the students

Course Curriculum Overview

Sociology is something where we can learn more about the society and their culture.i believe studying sociology will help me understand more about our society and their. Culture which will help me in further academic pursuits. But i believe that making program's or going for tour to see and learn more about other cultures will help the students learn more

Class Size: 24Course Fees: INR 4500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

5,300 was paid for this semester Examination fees are taken(1500)but there's no other lab fees And as for the other batchmates the fees are same as mine The amount of scholarship i get is around 15300 And they pay extra money for the merit students

Campus Life

The college celebrate the foundation day every year in the month of augutand we also celebrate pre teachers day and Christmas eve. The books available here in the library are good but the quantity is quite less compared to other colleges. Sport's and other activities are held often and the students run some social groups and clubs

Admission

I applied only in this college and i did got admission in this college.i choose this college over other because this college is more near to my place and it's walkable.and also the professors here are well trained

Faculty

The faculty are very good to talk and share things with.they are very approachable Mam aola is best faculty teacher i would say... she's very good in teaching and friendly to talk with unlike other faculty members There are internal exams and final exams.. almost all the students clear their exam

Night Life

Actually there's no favourites place but i would say courtyard. The hostel and the campus here are quite good. The famous hangout places i would say is canteen or maybe college courtyard.yes the locality here is safe to roam around at night

Her's Point of View

Course Curriculum Overview:

At 11th and 12th standard i was introduced to Education subject where there were parts of Psychology and it really attracted me and also the big reason why i choose this course is because there is not much attention given to mental heath in Nagaland even tho its a serious issue here, People tend to called those mental Illness as having abnormality in the brain and lable the person with depression as fool or idiot, so just to give out a proper care for our minds i choose Psychology.As for improvements there needs to be more practical activities and by that not some paper works but more of an indepth person analysing activities, thats all and also the timings are a big problem as not enuough time leads to dissatisfaction on the paper so the timings of exam should be increased.

Actually i chose my course because i am interested in history And also I didn't expect to choose my minor as mass com but it turned out pretty interesting I like that my confidence level is going up after I joined this college The exam timing is okay (3 hours )but sometimes it's not enough so don't waste time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I myself as a students with political science as my honours. i can proudly say that political science professors are the best. The outer knowledge they impart besides our syllabus is top notch. Test and assignment are given in a such a way it is easier for us at the end of the day when we write for exams. So far i have no complaints for their course curriculum and teaching methods.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course in which i am studying right now has really influence my decision in many more as it broadened my thinking in such way that made me understand different perspectives in different way like more than of normal. I choose this course because science and commerce are not for me. There are more than 50 teaching faculty including security, bus driver and the canteen staff. The teacher should complete their masters to teach. There is only one exam each semester but there are lots of tests.

Placement Experience:

From the 1at semester, the student is eligible to take admissions here. Companies like Reliance, Tata and Amazon come here to take the review. There are chances of 60% of students getting placements. I'm planning to join JNU Delhi for higher studies in future to opt for my PhD.

Good college with moderate infrastructure

Remarks:

The college is really good for students to work themselves overall. The college lacks a little in the infrastructure part but I'm sure they will come up with it in future. Overall the ambience and the college location is feasible for the students to commute.

Admission:

I got admission into this college through 10+2 marks. If you do partial admission then your form will be cancelled. You need to bring 2 passport size photographs and 1 thumb size photographs. Transfer certificate marksheet and other important documents.

True and Fair view on 'Kohima College, Kohima '
