Remarks

Whoever needs help gets help. People can get scholarships and also a chance to earn handsome money. Though it's based on caste and performance, they should consider the income bracket along with caste as well.

Entrance Preview

There's no student exchange program as such. The only exposure you get is through the internships and the events that keep the IIT campus abuzz. Networking can be done in these events, as many recognized corporates are here.

Internships Opportunities

Very little exposure especially for UGs. There are very few international scholarships/ exchange programs offered. Language courses in different countries are provided which is a good step.

Placement Experience

The infrastructure is pretty good in comparison to many colleges but I think being one of the best colleges in India the infrastructure should be a lot better.

College Events

There are a lot of Clubs and Associations in the college in every field possible. I really appreciate that. There are clubs for technical activities, cultural activities, sports and a lot more.

Fees and Financial Aid

SKY has grown from strength to strength to emerge as one of the top technical universities in the world.

Hostel Facilities

The Hostel rooms of senior boys are very small and congested. I really think that there must be bigger rooms at least double the size of the present rooms. The mess food is also not that good.

Alumni/Alumna

The startups started by alumni are a major hiring source here. Microsoft, Bosch, Samsung, Deutsche Bank, Tata all hired in two digits during the last placement session.

Faculty

The faculty of IIT Bombay is really rich with knowledge and sheer experience. They are easily available and the internal exams are decided by the teachers only. A load of subjects and a busy schedule doesn't feel so hectic if the teachers are really help

Honestly the placement is good in college but student's are not able to get that placement because they don't work on their skills . Then how could college place them although College does their best in placement. Almost 80% students get placement in our college .the highest package last year was 12.5 lakhs per annum. The average Package is almost about 3 lakhs per annum.

One of the best college in Mumbai

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . The highest package was 16 LPA and the avg is 4.37 LPA , placement percentage is 74% . I am planning to opt for MBA after BTECH

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.
