Remarks

Positive: Infrastructure is amazing, it has one of the best Infrastructure in IP University. Cons: Bad placement, have to work very hard to get placed. Location is very bad, so one has to be very careful outside the campus. If you are coming or leaving college at odd timings, then it will be difficult for you to get an auto.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Curriculum is set by Indraprastha University and is very good for B.Tech, It covers almost subjects from every fields.Course is of 4 years, divided into 8 semesters Each semester consists of around 5-6 subjects along with practicals of 3-4 subjects. Each semester is of 6 months, consisting of 2 sessional exams (30 marks each) and then one final semester exam of 75 marks each subject + 25 marks of each practical.

Placement Experience

2

There are no internships provided by ADGITM. You will be asked to go get an internship in your 6th semester and then in 7th semester and then submit it’s report, for which marks are given out of 100. Placements: It gets very difficult to get placed through ADGITM, Training and placement cell is not upto the mark. Very less organisations visit the campus. Don’t stay in the hope that you will get placed on campus. Very few people get placed on campus. Multiple MNCs have blacklisted ADGITM. Companies that recently visited: 1) RedCarpet 2) Byju’s 3) Infosys 4) Samsung 5) Josh 6) Nirvana 7) Alight 8) Wipro

College Events

2.5

There are very few events happening around in ADGITM 1) First you will come accross Unofficial Freshers Party, attend this one as this might be the only good event in these 4 years. 2) Tech Fairs- In this small groups conduct some coding competitions and winners get a prize 3) Annual Fest- It’s all about students dancing together in the ground with DJ setup and sometimes some good Music artists also come. Recently Milind Gaba was invited. Otherwise there is nothing exotic in this fest. 4) There is no official farewell. So don’t get your hopes high. But do attend Unofficial farewell.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is little bit on the expensive side.Annual Fees is around 1L that has to be paid before the beginning of each year. They also charge fees for in college training programs (2-3 days training on any language) that takes place in last year of the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship provided by ADGITM college as it is affiliated with Indraprashtha University. But ADGITM offers loan facility to students who cannot afford it, they do it with collaboration with some good Banks, so yes you can avail it.

Campus Life

5

There are no extracurricular activities happening around. You can only play carrom and table tennis, that also only if the faculty who provides it is available, which was kind of rare.Labs are pretty well, only rooms in the building which are Air Conditioned. PCs used are also new and in very good condition. There is always a Lab assistant there to help you out.For sports, you can carry your cricket gear to play cricket in the ground and then there is one Basketball court too. Societies: There are many good societies in ADGITM 1) Fashion Society 2) Drama Society 3) Dance Society 4) Enactus, etc

Alumni/Alumna

There is one Alumni meet every year, where you can get to know Alumni and take their experience. In this meet you can ask questions about your career and tips regarding placement.Otherwise it’s all about how good you are in creating and maintaining network.Senior students are also helpful and if you have any doubts or need some help, they will help you around.

Admission

1) Firstly, one has to register for GGSIPU CET (Common Enterance Exam). 2) There is only 1 exam which consists of Maths, Physics & Chemistry MCQ questions which are easy if you have good basics of what you did in school. 3) Result: There are 3 cut off lists, I got into ADGITM in 3rd list at rand of 16152. Cut off for ADGITM is around 17000-18000. 4) Then you have to visit college one day for document verification, which will take approx 6-8hrs

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is moderate. You will find some teachers who will give extra effort to make you understand the topics and then there are some teachers who will just pass their time around and then give marks according to their own choice in internals. One has to study on their own to be able to pass the exams. You will find friendly as well as strict faculty here.

We have to understand and go for training as per the direction of our enhanced cell guidance. Companies take a lot of things into account apart from scores and this is where it becomes inevitable for us to go for it. Top level companies are the ones that gets along and gives nearly 90% of the students.

Placement offers are not that good, like if you're pursuing other courses than btech so the placement is good but in btech, tech companies don't come that often, so you have to develop your skills during your academics and apply offline for job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently what a job require and what we are being taught in the college, totally different. We have to study separately for preparing job because in our course curriculum, importance skills aren't taught and the frequency of exam throughout the year is too much. We don't get enough time for preparing jobs. We need less frequency of exams throughout the year so that we can prepare for a job.
