The curriculum is not acurated our university named KTU the university has different rules on different batches .The syllabus are very old new trend are not included in the syllabus.The university are fail to establish the new trend in technology

The place opportunities give by the school are poor .The placement drive are not conducted by the college .If we want placement we visited other college for participating placement drives .We do internship program in government field

The event including culture fest where conduct in college.The program named Dejavu the fund for this program is collected by the students .The estimation for the program is about 15 lakhs the program where venue in the green field international stadium Trivandrum.Other program includes Onam and christmas celebration where conducted

The fee structure for the college is very expensive(75000) for the first admission they charge huge price and last admission the fee is very less(20000).And the college charge money for different things

There is not scholarship is provided by the college and the university has no scholarship .The low cast community have scholarship from the government and they have no exam free .And they got scholarship from their community

The extracurricular activities are provided by the college is excellent the sport activities were conducted by the college And the college has different teams in different sectors in sports and we are the champions in many matches

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility in the college is good very clean rooms and the food is very good the food are not veg .The hostel have a gym for students and good playing area in the college and there is no raging in the college.Seperate hostel for boy and girls

The senior and junior students are live like brothers and sisters in college.There is no ragging issue in college .we lived in the college like a family .we are stand always good activities we conducted many programs for social activities

By the eligibility of entrance exam I secured maximum mark in entrance exam.By this criteria I got exam for btech.The entrance exam based on the three subjects mathematics, physics and chemistry .And the exam has a pass mark of minimum 10

Faculty

The faculty are not better they have poor knowledge they come to teach for experience.The faculty are not experience and they should not cover the syllabus.After got the experience they leave the college

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.
