Almost no curricular and cultural activity being organised by the college faculty
There is no attendance structure making the classes irregular

Course Curriculum Overview

The amount of events and curriculum organised by the college is really less as for the curricular activities in a year there would be event organised by the students which would contain various activities.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees has to be paid semester wise. In the first year the fees for the course was around 1700 per semester for boys whereas for girls it was around 750. In the second year of college the fees decreased to around 1500 per semester for boys whereas for girls it 750. Other scholarships are also provided by the college

Campus Life

The campus life till now for me has been a rollercoaster ride as I have experienced many events and learnt from them, the campus is not the best part of this college but it provides library whichh would be useful for you during your exam periods or else it also provides various books out of your syllabus you would like to learn.

Admission

The branch I choose for is instrumentation and control engineering which is one of the growing branch in India. In gujarat there are only 7 colleges which provide this course, GEC Gandhinagar was one of them and their placement cell is also really impressive

Faculty

Some of the faculty members are really helpful and supporting whereas some lecturers would not even come for taking lectures. In total in a semester there would be mid term exams consisting of 30 marks and university exams of 70 marks

Night Life

The college canteen provides a decent food in a low cost, library and public area are also really good. One of the famous hangout places would be the parking area where most of the students meet or else one more place would be the area near the library.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester students are eligible for placement. Infosys, tcs, micron, etc visited our college. Infosys offered 10 lpa, tcs offered 7lpa, micron offered 12 lpa. Highest package is 15 lpa, while the avg package is 10 lpa. 80% students are getting placed. I want to pursue M.tech

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

Placement Experience:

The placements are outstanding although i did not opt for one as i have to prepare for my gvt exams my friends have all gotten internships and most likely be employeed to same companies after internship period. Mostly all who want to get a internship have one before the end of 3rd year which means they can get 2 years of prior experiences as compared to other institutions.
