Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our curriculum includes almost evrything we need to learn for real-world applications and to secure a good job. One thing I would like to change about the curriculum is that the college need to provide more practical training and focus more on growing students' skills.

Placement Experience

2

From what I have heard from some senior students, the placements offered in our college are not so good. Most of the students have to look for Off-Campus Placements. Only about 40% students are accepted from the campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

No registration or admission fees from female students. A total of Rs.1675 was taken during the 1st year which included Development, Internal exam, Lab and Library fees etc. In the next semester Rs.730 were taken.

Campus Life

3

Our college helds hackathon like Hack The Spring which usually takes place during feb-march. Other additional events like Engineers day celebration also takes place. There is also a technical club- Club IDE which helds numerous events throughout the year.

Admission

I chose this college because it was a government college and I was eligible to take admission due to my merit. It ranks among one of the top 10 governtment colleges of the state. The other college I wanted to enroll into was Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, but my merit was low.

Faculty

4

Most of the faculties are always helpful to the students here while some other faculties seem unapprochable due to their behaviour. Yearly there are two Mid Semester Exams each of 30 marks and two University Exams each of 70 marks. Including the score from these two and the internal marks given by faculty, the final results are made.

Night Life

3

There is no gym facility in our campus and the library closes off after the academic hours. The hostel girls are supposed to return by 8:30 pm at night ,however they are allowed to do night out by their Parents' permission. It's very lively at night around the hostels since students roam around.

In CSE Placement percentage is 94% and in ECE it is 84%. I will go for College placements and will give government exams and GATE exam.
