Course Curriculum Overview

3

In class 12 I took Commerce so that's the reason I choose B.Com for Graduation . and doing B.Com from DU SOL is best option for me because only 2 days are for classes and rest days I can do other things and also prepare for Government Exam. I choose is course because I want to work for government banks so B.Com provide a foundation for banking terms and give a clear understanding related to Finance. B.Com includes subjects like Finance Accounting, Company law, Income tax law and practice ,etc. B.Com is a good course for students who want to go in the field for Finance or Accounting ,etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I studied from DU SOL (school of open learning , Delhi University). I did B.Com from DU SOL in 2023 . The Fee Structure of B.Com is as follows : Fee is SAME and didn't increase yet . First Year - 10,120 rupees Second Year - 8870 rupees Third Year - 8870 rupees

Campus Life

2

This is DU SOL so there is no Campus life. In this you can get 2 days faculty lectures but there is no Campus life there. If you want Campus Life then you can get admisssion in Delhi University (regular). but still I will recommend you to get admission in DU SOL because its degree is equally valid as other regular colleges . but there is extra benefit if you want time for prepartion for competitive exam then DU SOL will the best option for you.

Admission

I choose DU SOL over the other colleges because I feel this university provide everything that I want because I can get degree from this university and can also prepare for Government Exams because of time management . This university provide 2 days class lectures and rest days students can do other things as per their choice. DU SOL provide quality weekend lectures and rest days students can do self study . Although this SOL university but it provide Valid Degree which is good for those students who wants degree and prepartion time for competitive Exams. This university is best for them. Admission process of DU SOL is very simple you do not have to go to anywhere to get admission. The admission process of DU SOL is ONLINE . You have to go to official website of DU SOL and fill the admission form and submit the online form. and THERE YOU GO

Faculty

2

Although less faculty interaction but still teachers are very supportive and well behaved. Faculty take classes on weekend days and students can ask queries related to their course if have any. B.Com Course is generally of 3 years but we can complete it maximum 4 years.and that if any student still cannot pass degree in 4 years then they will declared as failed . Exam are held in every 6 months and students are required to pass the all subjects if they fail any subject for any reason they can write this exam in next alternative semester Every subject is of 100 marks and for passing marks students should score 35 marks.

Night Life

1

There is no Campus facility available in DU SOL . This is a School Of Open Learning , Delhi University so you can get 2 days lectures in a week only. there is DU SOL North Campus in New Delhi where students get 2 days lectures for their course. and outside this campus there is lots of food shops available and there is lot of greenery as well .

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.
