Remarks

The primary reason to choose RNSIT is that my rank matched the cutoff of this college. Besides,there were several other factors that led me to choose this college.There is metro connectivity around 5kms from the college which makes it easy for travelling. There are frequent buses connecting major places of the city. The college environment is good and disciplined.

Course Curriculum Overview

The institution is Autonomous affliated under VTU.The programming languages taught for the first year students include C language and Python.There are also elective courses where students can opt based on their interests.Also we are encouraged to do various certification courses from renowned platforms which enhances our knowledge.There are various workshops conducted which give practical insights on the trending technologies.Many hackathons,club related activities are conducted in the college level.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 107000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As a first year student I don't have personal experience with internships but the college offers good internship support through its placement cell where many reputed companies provide internships with stipends.At present the highest stipend offered through internship is 1.1 lakhs per month.

Placement Experience

Since I'm in my first year I don't have a detailed idea regarding the placements.The highest package offered this year is around 41.64LPA .I think the eligibility for internships and placements is from sixth and seventh semesters respectively.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for Karnataka CET quota is around 107000 and that for COMEDK quota is 281000.Along with this,some amount is collected from the college towards vtu exam fees,college fees etc.The management quota fees is 750000 for Computer science and Engineering and varies for other branches.

Campus Life

The campus life is quite good.There are many clubs that conduct various activities in the college level.Academic related activities are also conducted where many workshops,hackathons etc are hosted by various clubs.The library is also well maintained with a wide range of books.

Faculty

The faculty to student relationship is good.The faculty members are really very friendly with the students and help out whenever they are approached.The teaching is also very good with well experienced faculty members.Totally 3 internal exams are conducted and one final semester end exam.Along with these lab internals are also conducted.

Night Life

Being a day scholar,I don't have much idea regarding the night life.The college's location boasts of many nearby places to hangout.Regarding the closure timings,I don't have much idea.Inside the college,the lights from the amphitheatre creates a vibrant atmosphere making it a lively and essential hangout spot.Also the temple inside the campus gives a serene and spiritual touch.

A good college for your development

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are pretty good with the average package being around 10 lakhs. Our college provides comprehensive training to prepare us for placments by conducting training over 2 months for both technical rounds as well as non-technical aptitude rounds. Mock interviews are conducted in order to prepare us for the real interviews.

A Campus that feels like home

Placement Experience:

Regarding placements , students are eligible from third sem for IT branches and 6th sem for non IT branches based on how they develop their skills. There is also a memorandum of understanding or m o u with different companies by our college which encourages internships but basically we have to skill up ourselves which the IT branch students can easily do . Core branch students are eligible from 6th semester as their skills are not developed because there the subjects are more and the concept building wouldn't have happened till 6th sem. Hence we are eligible from 6th semester. This time the placements are really good core branches have got the highest placements in triple e that is electrical and electronics engineering out of 90 students 86 students have been placed which is setting a record in the college placement history for IT branches though the packages not as much as 40 LPA, a package would range from 3 to 15 lpa by companies like thought works Infosys LTTS etc. I have my future plan is to get placed in a good company work there for few years to gain professional experience and do my masters.

Overall our college is like Temple to me and i will cherish it lifetime.

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college was an average because our college is located in rural area and companies were not ready to come to that rural place but our placement officer used to try very hard in order to help students and get placed in well company. During the last year i.e, 7th semester palcements used to come and depending on our eligibilty we attented the interviews. My plans after the degree completion was to do software courses and join in software company because i did electrical and eletronics engineering.

Review of RNSIT first year DS student

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNSIT are decent and consistent, especially for CS-related branches. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts training programs including aptitude tests, coding practice, mock interviews, and soft skills sessions to prepare students. Many reputed companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, and some product-based companies visit the campus. The highest package in recent years has gone above 20 LPA (mostly for CS/IT related roles), while the average package ranges between 4–6 LPA depending on the branch. Most offers are for roles like Software Developer, System Engineer, Analyst, and Associate Engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Here the curriculum is good and faculty is good and labs are good equipment. Faculty will be friendly and syllabus will be up to date and exams will be like mid will be moderated to some diffy and end sem will be little more diffy .and once you join this college you will be allotted a faculty advisor and he/she takes care of you

I chose RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT) through KCET counselling after comparing it with JSS and SJBIT. My decision was mainly based on placement records, faculty quality, infrastructure, and overall reputation in Bangalore. RNSIT has consistent placement performance in core branches and growing opportunities in emerging fields like Data Science. RNSIT HONEST REVIEW

I choosed this college because it was in my rank range , i scored 28118 rank in COMEDK , this was in my range , I got it in 3rd round , i had other options too , but the reason choosed RNSIT was because it is and autonomous college , which is really a good thing for scoring good CGPA , and it's campus size was really large , 180 acres campus , as compared to any other college in banglore is the largest and it's placement average was better than most of the COMEDK colleges , you have to give KCET , or COMEDK to get admission in this college , you can also come from management quota....Read More
