Course Curriculum Overview
If you're into tech and AI you can choose this course. Curriculum is actually old and needs to be improvised. Subjects are not according to modern technology and methods. Teaching method needs to be more practical and not theory based. Exams and time table is quite good.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid 75000 rupees every year. Tution fees around 35000, admission fees around 10000 and lab fees and other charges including its 75000 for obc. For general it's 1 lakh and sc, st and ews around 10000 every year. You can fill out MAHADBT scholarship for which covers up tution fees.
Campus Life
Annual function is called Kshitijam and Technical festivals like TechEd are conducted every year. All books and journals available in library. Overall good infrastructure and facilities but no hostel facility available. Sports and extracurricular activities are regularly done by students. All the functions, events and sports are organised by students community.
Admission
I applied for around 100 colleges this college was o 45th on list. I wasn't happy but I had to no other option. I wanted F.R. conceio rodrigues or Datta meghe college but it had higher cutoff. By scoring around 80 to 85 percentile in CET you can get into this college. It also accepts jee main students. Overall admission experience was smooth
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is quite good. Faculty is somewhat good and not really rude of you behave right but the their way of teaching is not really interesting. Exams are strictly conducted but easy to pass if you just fill up the paper.
Night Life
Famous cafes around college are Baithak and Buddies where college students hangout. Cafeteria is average and not really good food. Library is big and can go for studies, no gym, No hostel facility available. Can hangout is college campus garden. No night life available because there are no clubs or party spots around.
