Dont go to NHITM

They showed AI / ML in their course and thats why i chose it but the faculty teaching that has no idea about the subject. They just stick to traditional theoretical teaching instead of actually helping students develop skills which will help them get a job. The faculties have 0 coding knowledge. They just focused on tons of assignments and waste our time.

They don't have any intership offer. I did one internship in my first year which was provided by college for no stipend. In that the faculty just taught us how to copy paste python code and how to make a python game by using github .

Sem 7 was the one for us. Only 2 companies came for Mechatronics engineers, only 5 people got selected out of 100. Highest package was 4.48 lpa by godrej. And later they fired them. Only people scoring 8 pointer plus got placed. Others went for masters to avoid unemployment. I got selected by Godrej but my life's a hell.

I paid Rs. 140000 per year. Lab deposit was Rs.10000 which they havent returned yet Caution fees Rs.5000 Examination fee Rs.3000 Development fee Rs.8408 University fee Rs.800 They provide mahadbt scholarship which reduces the fee to Rs.11000 per year.

The crowd was stupid full of drug addicts. They used to drink even during lectures. Clubs were just for name sake. Libraries lacked any relevant book to our course. Faculties had one projector and they used to fight for it. Sports were done but not organised properly causing lot of fights and thefts. Someone even stole my phone.

I chose that college because they claimed they were the best on their website and they showed their alumnis but they didnt tell us that the alumnis were already scholars. I got selected in Thakur college for EXTC but the crowd there was poor. I got VJTI too but again it was for EXTC and i didn't feel any scope there. And honestly my college dont have any eligibility criteria cuz it's empty. Even if you score low they will accept you by just asking for donation.

Faculty to student ratio is 1:50. Some Faculties are very helpful but majority have severe ego issues. Even the dean is very narrow minded and arrogant. The best faculties already left the college like Jayshree madam who always treated her students respectfully and answered all the doubts. Priyanka maam used to rant about her personal problems and how students treat her poorly even though no one did anything to her. We have 6 exams, IA1 IA2 Sem1 and sem 2 and this repeats through the entire course time of 4 years. Curriculum is irrelevant and most people struggle for job. Almost 20% got KTs.

We don't have gym . Cafeteria is like a street food trolley, ofcourse the food is expensive and tastes bad. We are not allowed to stay late after college. We were not allowed to explore at all.we just hung out in the garden where we got attacked by ducks. So library was it for us.
