Likes

The social interaction in the college campus was really good as everyone was friendly and easy to get with.
There is absolutely zero cases of ragging in the college and no racial discrimination.
The events in the college was so fun and productive.

Dislikes

The uniform should be worn regularly as almost half of the students use other outfit instead of uniform.
The student council should improve and be focused on college development.
The use of tobacco products or sale of these products should be prohibited within 100 meters in college

Course Curriculum Overview

I selected my main course as history because it was a really interesting course for me and this course was all about real world history so it was really fun to study. The overall teacher methods was grade A in my opinion. We had monthly tests and surprise test in order to prepare us for exams.

Class Size: 115Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I did my college admission with 14 thousand rupees which the fees for the first semester as well as uniform was included. The college fees per semester is 6000 rupees. We pay our fees after every semester which is 6000 rupees approx.

Campus Life

There are a lot of programs in Baptist college. Namely: cultural day, literary day, quiz competitions, sports weekend and much more. And the library is a medium sized library but almost all the books are available in the library. Within the classrooms there are cctv cameras and projectors in every classroom as well as cameras in the hallways. And when it comes to sports literally all the sports are played during sports event.

Admission

I didn't apply for other colleges but only Baptist college because it was near my house which made it more sensible for me. There was not much of eligibility because the college gives chance to everyone. And despite not having eligibility it's still one of the best college in kohima

Faculty

The faculty to students relationship is really healthy. I had two favourite faculty which was my political science teacher miss naro for her friendly attitude and also sir chubutse who taught us history honours for his raw and plain teaching.

Night Life

The college isn't open at night but the locality is very much safe and secure for both men and women. There is a small pond near the college where students as well as outsiders love to visit during both day and night.

I myself as a students with political science as my honours. i can proudly say that political science professors are the best. The outer knowledge they impart besides our syllabus is top notch. Remarks:

Our college has all the infrastructures that a student need for basic learning but not all for a complete standardized exposure linked to our talents. The attendance weight age is quite attentively followed and students may be dropped just because of the attendance. It's quite far from here town so, usually alot of people stay in the hostel, and staying in the hostel seems to be painful since the areas adjoin the college is a highway, and we don't have access to towns and good shops nearby in order to get our need full filled. Apart from my studies I'm also having a good time with my professors.
