- The academic structure follows the VTU syllabus, which is regularly updated. The faculty members in the Civil engg Dept are well- qualified and experienced , with many holding M.tech or PhD degrees.
- The civil engg labs are well- equipped with essential innstruments for structural engg, geotechnical engg,Surveying,hydraulics and environmental engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
the curriculum is well structured and covers core civil engineering topics effectively.while it's academically strong and VTU - aligned, it could include more modern tools like BIM and Sustainability . overall, its relevant but can improve in industry alignment.
Internships Opportunities
there some reputed company which provides internship opportunites for students with the stipend based on student performance.Not only MNC even thhe core companies provides the internship for the students. Where in the faculty also help the students to get paid internship by there contacts.
Fees and Financial Aid
As a student of the Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering (2021-2025 batch) affiliated with VTU in RNS Institute of Technology. The fee structure was primarily governed by VTU norms. However, the college-level fees, such as development,lab and miscellaneous charges, were subject to minor revisions each year based on the institution's discretion.
Campus Life
Campus life at RNSIT was vibrant and balanced . i made great friends, joined student clubs and took part in fest and events. the infrastructure was well maintained with the same design of the buildings everywhere. suggestion is to improve the infrastructure in the clg and conduct fest and other events
Admission
I got admission into RNSIT through the CET counseling process, and while it wasn't my first preference initially, it turned out to be the right choice. What stood out to me the most was the supportive faculty, friendly environment and the quality of peers I met here.
Faculty
The faculty student ratio is 1:5. The faculty helps the student based on student interest . also faculty engage the students to extra activites based on the student interest. the facuty in dept start the software tools for the students which is not mention in VTU norms
Night Life
The night life in clg campus is best as we were aloowed till 9:00 pm . where the main attraction is the centre garden . the sport ground were in we played till late nights. where the hostel students use to play till late night .
