Course Curriculum Overview
the college follows the vtu curriculum which according to me is a littke bit too primitive. But, The college does provide good resources to excel yourself beyond the prescribed curriculum. Multiple certifications, projects and assesments need to be completed each semester
Internships Opportunities
there are many internships and placement opportunities provide. But it is in your hands to prepare well and put equal amount of hardwork. there are a few ups and downs when it comes to placements as each company are being very strict with their intake so i suggest to keep optimistic and work hard. Eventually everything will fall into place.
Placement Experience
students become eligible for internships from sixth semester and for placements you are eligible from seventh sem. many good companies do visit the college but you must prepare accordingly for each companies .
Fees and Financial Aid
So, I have joined this college through management quota so i have to pay 6 lakhs per year so collectively its 24 lakhs for 4 years. so the tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, developmemt fees, lab fees, and other kinds of fee are included with this annual fe. no extra fee required.
Campus Life
The campus life is excellent. The kind of friendships i have made in this college is something that i will cherish throughout my life. there are a lot of technical and non technical clubs that you can join to boost your skills and confidence.
Admission
So I initially wanyed to pursue research in genetics and was aiming to join iisers. I wrote the isserat test but because i belong to general quota i couldnt qualify. My second option was engineering so i joined this college.
Faculty
We do have pretty good amount of faculties. Most of them are easy to approach and supportive towards the growth of the students. each semester has 3 internals out of which best 2 internal marks are considered with other factors and it is evaluated to 50 and externals are written for 100 which is then reduced to 50. So 50 internals and 50 externals is added that is your maximum marks for that particular subject. The same grading system is followed for both theory and lab subjects
Night Life
This college has a good gym infrastructure, Cafeteria and library. Around the college there are good cafes and food joints that you can hangout in. But I would suggest to explore other areas farther from rnsit to get achange of environment
