Review of my College

The syllabus of B.pharm is mostly focused on industry and clinical pharmacy. The exams are moderately hard and each semester have 4 internals for theory and 2 internal for practical. At the end of each semester we have final semester exams.

Our college gave us many options to choose from for internship. We can choose to get internships in Kolkata, Sikkim and Hyderabad. The college makes connections and provides opportunities for all students.

The placement provided by my college is good. We had campus selection for Med Plus and Apollo. We also went to give interviews outside. Among 100 around 32 were interested in placement and nearly all good placements. My plans after getting degree is higher studies pursuing M. pharm.

As per my tution fees it was Rs 82500/year. At the time of admission approximately Rs 5000 was taken for caution money and laboratory caution fees, approximately Rs 5000 for library and development and Rs 4000 for dress and ID card. As of 2025 the course fees has increased and also hostel fees. The college provides benefits for minorities as well. The college also provides scholarships of Swami Vivekananda merit cums mean scholarship of Rs 6000 per year for minimum 60% of marks.

We have our college annual sport and cultural events every year. We also have volleyball and cricket leagues in our college every year. The college live and social life is great. We don't have any clubs our pubs nearby.

Rent and food combined costs Rs 6000. The food is moderate and we live 5 persons in each room. We are provided with a bed and a table. The menu of the hostel consists of different variety of foods. Also the hostel is clean.

I have given WBJEE and got this college. I haven't applied to any other colleges. I had a drop of 2 years so I just decided to get admission here only. The college is good and the hostel is the best part.

Faculty members are the best to be provided. The rtaio of facilities to students are 1:50 and they are highly skilled. All the faculty helps the students everytime they needs helps. Among them our principal Dr Sajal Kumar Jha is highly visionary person and keeps improving our college and college life.

No there was no interview or group discussion during admission. We have to give WBJEE for exam and get selected on college or we can get direct admission while contacting the college. We have to give donation for direct admission.

We have our cafeteria and library and boys common rooms. We don't have a gym and our outing time daily is 6:00 PM -6:30PM. The hotel closes at 10:30 PM at night and opens at 5 AM at morning. We don't have any famous hangout places near college.
