Course Curriculum Overview

5

Well I have keen interest in physics since my childhood and being defence aspirant especially airforce, to help me in my future career options that's why I chose this course.Physics itself is language of realm and everything we see is science and it's application.I don't there need to be any improvement in current curriculum but it is good to have some engineering subject like electric circuit analysis in physics Hons. Well physics is difficult subject it requires hardwork , understanding of concepts, regular practice of numerical and good guidance the difficulty of exam is not any problem. We have our end sem exam after 5-6 months so there is not any problem with this and duration of exam is little short but it will help us for future competitive exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees which I paid was 16955rs for 1st year ,I don't know the component wise fees structure but tution fees might be 9000 of the total fees, obviously category students have to pay less than us and fees is 40 percent of our for sc students and even less for st students. I am not aware of the scholarship that are being provided by university or college in the meantime.

Campus Life

5

I live here in pg to vicinity of my college there are programs and features organised by the college like nexus phoenix etc by different colleges. These events are source of recreation for students from their academic life. The classes are well aired properly spaced good blackboard. Sports activities are very good but only for tournament not for daily basis as I mentioned earlier. For extra curricular activities there many different cluns and societies for dance, debates , litrature etc

Admission

I will tell you about myself when I was in 12 th class I was preparing for NDA I written cleared than I began preparing for my ssb my ssb was in January so I was not able to study much for my boards and and I was not able to clear my ssb and that shocked so I lost my focus and I fell short in academics and when I appeared for curt exams I got less marks and then I didn't got the college which I hoped for .The admission process as I mentioned earlier is through cuet examination conducted by the nta after class 12 exams and admission was based on the cutoff marks marks given by specific colleges.

Faculty

As I have mentioned earlier teacher here are very responsive and helpful They help everytime when we approach them they play key role in our lives and they understand this help us with their utmost efforts. Well I can't name the faculty but she our electricity and magnetism teacher and she is very good teacher she care for students and teaches really well and took tests on time and assignment on time and help us with our doubts.there are hardly any faculty which I dislike but there is one who is our lab assistant he knows nothing,he is arrogant, repress us and don't let us do our work properly and he screams at us while we are discussing about our experiments.there are three major exam in my course 4 additional like sec vac ge etc. Most of the students pass these examination but 2 -3 students who didn't attended class regularly are likely to fail.

Night Life

5

I don't do gym so I don't know anything about gym , library is really good encompasses huge number of books and arranged properly I don't live in college hostel I live in pg. The cafeteria is really good and many dishes at good prices.the famous place in our college is sundari chowk

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
