Remarks

Ignou provides distance learning course so a student can maintain its pace of learning according to his own requirements so any individual looking to further enrich his career must opt for ignou for sure as it is best institution providing distance learning in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

IGNOU being a Central University it has a a central management unit governing 5 zones. So courses and pattern of courses I continuously updated such that they are are coherent with the current education standards at the same time maintaining the simplicity of the course since it's an Open University it has a a highly flexible examination pattern . Subjects are credit based with stream related subjects of 4 credits and optional subjects of 8. For back maths 64 credits are required in a duration of 3 to 6 years with exams occurring twice every year so students can finish their course at their own pace and time.

Placement Experience

3

IGNOU has a campus placement cell at it's central head quarters new delhi every year ignou CPC organises it's campus placement drive where many industry ready individuals from ignou get placed into various national and multi national companies. No, since ignou provides distance education thus internship opportunities are really low in my college.

Fees and Financial Aid

No ignou does not offer any loan facility but ignou has a scholarship facility for students passing with high scores, every year during the convocation ceremony meritorious students are awarded scholarship and the scholarship is given to them by our chancellor who is the president of India.

Campus Life

4

IGNOU organises a large number of extracurricular activities such as quizes, debates, NGO participations. IGNOU being an open university performs lab activities at colleges where it establishes its study centre.

Alumni/Alumna

IGNOU is the largest university in India it has 400,000 active students pursuing its various thus ignou has a well established alumni and students network with its alumnus present over various social media platforms so we get a lot of help from our seniors.

Admission

IGNOU is a central university and it was established by the IGNOU act 1985 with a single aim to provide high quality and cost effective education to every individual of a country which was facing the problem of low literacy rate and in accessibility to good quality higher education. So firstly I researched a lot for institutions that provide good quality open courses and hence I came across few institutions and out of them ignou being a central university and also providing good quality education at reasonable fees had to be my obvious choice so i decided to pursue my bsc maths from ignou for which I filled it's online registration form and paid the due fees after which I got my identity card printed from the study centre situated near me.
