Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum typically covers core areas of physics, including mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, and statistical mechanics, along with laboratory work. It also provides opportunities for students to specialize in areas like astrophysics, particle physics, or condensed matter physics. The B.Sc. (Hons) in Physics provides a solid understanding of fundamental principles, making it a valuable foundation for diverse fields like research, technology, education, and healthcare. Career Diversity: Graduates can pursue careers in research and development, academia, engineering, data science, and other fields. Practical Skills: The curriculum often includes laboratory work, which helps students develop practical skills and experience with scientific instruments and techniques.

Internships Opportunities

3

Many internships and roles are offered with college. Name's are not in mind exactly but they provide us various opportunities. They provide us various sessions related to internships and all.Till I have not done any internship.

Placement Experience

3

Usually from 7th and 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Average package as per company and profiles offered is 8 lakhs per annum. Students who have got 9 CGPA or 90% were getting the placements. My plan after getting the degree is doing MSc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am doing BSC (Hons) Physics from Miranda house and my course fees is 19500.we have to pay our exam registration fees nearly 2000 . Lab fees is included in 19500.My batchmates are paying the same amount.

Campus Life

4

There are many societies in the college of different different things. Many events like annual fests, department fests, festival mela type also happens.Various sports like basketball, Taekwondo, yoga, badminton etc are also there it's your choice to choose them.

Admission

I gave cuet exam. Then I filled the csas application phases for delhi university and fill the courses that I am eligible for taking admission in it . Then delhi university offers me Miranda house college and it is awesome.I have not filled any other universities so I have not faced any rejection from other colleges or universities.

Faculty

5

Faculty is very appreciative. They talk with students in a good way and also students does not hesitate to share their problems. We have to give 2 exams (practical and theory exams) and there will be a mid sem also for internal marks. It depends on the students some feels like exam is easy or others faces difficult.

Night Life

3

In my college there's a gym, canteen, cafeteria & millet canteen. My college is a girls college so there is a girls hostel also. The locality around the college is safe but at night don't know because I am not in hostel.

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.
