Vivekananda College review

The college environment is a bit unhygienic dogs enters classrooms.They donot give notices about holidays properly in proper time some days we suffer by moving to the college then knowing its a holiday.

The course curriculam is not bad and not even excellent though, few teachers goes off topic and few think themselves so called scholars but they dont have simple sense of teaching. though they may know the subject matter, well thats nit for all teachers some are really really good.The Exam structure consists of 6 exams in 3 yrs each exam is after 6 months gap, with few internal assesment exams. every paper is of MCQ nature accept the accounts honours paper.

Dont know much about placememts and job opportunities given in the college, i havent completed my graduation yet so its useless to ask me about internship experience and stripen.but as far i have heard renowned companies come here to offer job .

Saraswati puja, Independence Day, Teachers Day is hugely celebrated in the college there is a large auditorium full ac and if not the space is enough the occassions are celebrated in the open space just after entering the college

Its feasible, the course fee for every year is about Rs 3800.Its much less than many other colleges, moreover it is less than what i have beared while getting admission in 11th and 12th, it was 30k with fees for every month.

I have not taken any such facilty.But as far i know the college allows poor students with good marks allowance in fees so that they can afford studing in the college.I think this step by the college is really really good enough to encourage not so well financial students to study.

Seniors students are really really very helpful, they protest against ragging, they always support us and ask whether we are having any problem in any of the departments, he explain us the freshers about the programs and activities the college arranges.

Admission in the college is done through online forms i applied for the admission and waited for the selection after i got selected i had to pay the admission fees online and another date was given when we had to move to the college physically with all the documents to get verified

The faculty is good, library is nice enough, a large football ground, carrom board and table tennis, the canteen is well maintain with space to sit for the students amd enjoy their meal, the college even has a gym, with free of fees, with a well trainer
