Remarks

Great as per parents view but students say it sucks because of shitty rules and engineering itself is hectic.

Course Curriculum Overview

SFIT is too strict regarding rules instead they add their own rules. Engineering feels like being a type writer too many assignments to complete its like hell with mumbai university. Exams we don't get time for that stuff still have to appear

Placement Experience

I haven't yet been through it So can't comment totally but this is just another average college with 3 LPA average salary. Tcs Lnt are major recruiters. Nothing more to say

Fee Structure And Facilities

For general category it's around 1Lac 10 Thousand and if you are lucky enough to be a part of obc, etc caste basis they have discount.

Admission

Mumbai university conducts an exam named CET or you can appear for JEE and on merit basis through online forms you can waot for lists and also correspondingly apply off-line by verification of documents and certificates

Faculty

Faculty can be rated as 6 out of 10 as some are great at teaching but the shitty systems sucks them too. Also there are faculty who might be well qualified but still lack the skill of teaching. Many things are brought up by them not too many works

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

SFIT the brave,the bold and the pressured

I entered thru cap round which plays a significant role in course eligibility in prestigious colleges , this college was recommended to me by a long stream of family members and it has lived upto a part of its reputation. I didn't get rejected but SFIT my 3rd most important college as I had to check for other better colleges which i knew i couldn't get in as part of a strategy. Eligibility depends on aspects like college minority and minority eligibility in this case Catholic or Christian need to have 65 plus in percentile of CET .
