Growth in placement rates and packages attracted me towards this college

There are no ACs in classrooms and even fans do not work properly
No sports facilities are there due to lack of campus
Course curriculum is old and inefficient

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very irrelevant. Why should an CSE student study Physics, Electrical Engineering, Digital Logic Design etc. which are of no use for us. Also, no practical knowledge is given. There is primarily focus only on marks and attendanc, not on skills of students.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 1600000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are good in our college. This year the average package in CSE was 14.4 LPA and highest package was 34 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Accenture, Flipkart, PayPal etc. I will also do job as a Data Scientist in a company after my degree completion.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a general category boy from a middle-class family, so I could not avail any scholarship. I am pursuing B.Tech in CSE from this college. The course duration is 4 years with a total fees of approx. 16 Lakhs with a split of 4 Lakhs annual fees(including the classroom fees, hostel fees, transport fees and mess fees).

Campus Life

There is no campus of the college of its own. So there is no campus life. The college has taken hostels for students at different places far from college. There are no sports facilities for students. There is no library, we have to study on our own from our books and laptop.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are ok. They have provided cupboards, shelfs, bed, study table, chair in the room. Also 24*7 electricity is also provided. The have also provied us with the facility of cold water through RO. Also there is facility of warm water for bathing in winters.

Hostel Fee: INR 84000 per year

Admission

I chose this college because at my rank in JEE Mains, this was the best college in terms of placement. I didn't apply for other colleges, so there was no chance of any rejection from any other college.

Faculty

The faculties just come in class, present the PPT, read that and then leave. No practical knowledge is given to students. We have to study subjects like physics, electrical engineering etc. which are of no use for us. The exams are on an easier side as they can be passed by studying one day before the exam.

Night Life

I have never done night-out in my hostel life. There is a proper timing after which no student is allowed to leave the hostel. I always stay at hostel after that time. I just go for a walk in the neighbourhood after the dinner.

Placement Experience:

Plcaments are the best compared to top tier 2 college average this year is 22 lpa and the highest is 84 and the lowest is 8.5lpa and median is 14 which i think is not good as compared to other year i know it will improve but many companies are still visiting till now 84 percent have been placed

REVIEW OF IIIT BHOPAL

I got CSE here and college is near my hometown thats why i choose this college . i could not make to other college because of not having enough rank to get my desired branch . admission process is normal it will take one or two days depending on which day you came here . admission process is like everything is step by step . i have applied to iiit alllahbad gwalior lucknow and jawalpur but i did not get there because my rank is not enough to get that colleges . my admission is done based on jee mains examination and the cutoff for gen category for cse core is something about 9 7.5percentile or under 35000 rank in jee mains . admission process include submission of documents then verification of documents then fees submission then getting admission slip then hostel and mess fees submission . overall admission process is decent , at my time it had take one full day to get admission slip....Read More
