Likes

Faculty, Support from the teachers, lenient in terms of attendance.
The classes are held on time and it's easy to understand.
The fees is less and very affordable for everyone.

Dislikes

I disliked the canteen food it's not that good.
There are no AC In the classrooms in particularly my college
The infrastructure is not too good. The buildings are old

Course Curriculum Overview

I believe that the course curriculum is extremely relevant. I really liked how throughout the semesters, we are getting to learn new 7 subjects.. it's amazing. And the practical exams really ensure that we are not only understanding everything but are also being able to implement in the practical life. The frequency of exams is high but it doesn't matter because it's helpful in testing out knowledge.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is approximately around 14k for my college. Apart from that there is examination fees per semester which is near 1000. There are financial aids provided to students who belong to underprivileged backgrounds and for that they need to submit applications whenever theyre out.

Campus Life

There are many societies and extra curricular activities that we can opt for while being in the college. We can choose them give audition/ interviews and he a part of that. There are multiple sports option as well for those who are interested in them.

Admission

I chose this college over other colleges because it's called as the top notch University and it was convenient for me to get admission in this because it's in my own city. I didn't get rejected in any of the colleges. This was the only college that I applied for as I was clear with my choices. First we have to apply for CUET, and make sure that we selecting all those subjects necessary for opting our desired course.

Faculty

There is enough faculty and they are approachable. We can even go to the staffrooms to look for teachers and take their help. I really liked the faculty which are available at the window to help students. There are usually 7 exams per semester and 4 of them are core so they are difficult apart from that it's easy. The course curriculum is extremely relevant.

Interview Experience

No, I didn't face anything like that. It as just an exam that's all. No GD was there. In order to secure admission all I had to do was to score minimum marks into my Cuet exam and in the shortlist my name was there.

Night Life

It's a safe area and anything that you would like will be available in the campus of the college. You can hangout and enjoy everything. Nearby there is Manju ka tila market where there are multiple options to do fun.

good campus life like cafeteria area, library, and classrooms

the whole reason i chose jims kalkaji is beacuse of placements it is popular for placements it offers multiple placements after your 3rd or 4th year of specializtion different multiple companies come here to pick students.

I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

I would rate the course curriculum around 4 out of 5. The curriculum is well structured and covers important subject related to commerce, accounting, finance, economics and business. Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

Dislikes

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
