Campus of DTU

Proffesor are very helpful but due to population of students they do not get a proper attention to all the student. Also their are some restrictions on students like you atlest have 75% attendance to sit in exam.

I am an electrical engineering student in DTU of 2k17 batch. In first year all students studied the same subjects. Afterward student had their subjects related to their respective branch. Their are 8 semester namely as odd and even in which we have 6 subjects each . The exams conduct as mid semester and end semester examination of each semester.

Placement of DTU is very impressive infact this are vary from 80-100%. The college is also provides the internship to the students in 3rd year. Not all the students get the internship but some can. And stipend is based on the company in which you are doing internship . I am 3rd year student, i didn't face yet internship session of DTU

Some famous events are ENGIFEST , YUVAAN , AVAHAN. Engifest is the main fest of DTU which will be held during February. And some culture fest like YUVAAN and sports fest is Avahan is also celebrated in DTU and their are lots of society like drama , dance ,acting etc and some technical society which also conducts their own fest.

Fees structure of DTU are rising year by year . I am from 2k17 batch my fee structure is like . In first year- 1,38,000 In second year - 1,51,000 In 3rd year- 1,68,000 and in 4th year it will become 1,91,000.

Their is lots of scholarship sc,obc,st and minorities students some scholarship is also for general students like The branch topper will get a 10k ruppees and some government scholarship are also provided by college. AS IT is govt. College so u get a education loan from bank which are affiliated by Kejriwal government in Delhi

DTU campus has a huge sports complex in which students can play cricket, football, basketball , Tennis ,kabbadi , volleyball and also their has an indoor in which badminton and table tennis are present. Laboratory are quite impressive . in lab assistant are present which helps in doing experiments

Also if you are from outside Delhi you could also grab hostel facility the fee off hostel is 40k per year and 10k of mess and some security is also deposited by college. The mess of the DTU is quite good it will only close on Friday.

Seniors are very helpful they gives the lots of information regarding placements and internship and also for upcoming events. Aumini of DTU is also helpful as DTU provide us as a mentor or also some students done the projects under some proffesor which is done under the professor's eyesight

Addmission is done by the joint entrance exam(JEE) previously it's name was AIEEE . ALSO previously DTU was named as DCE and they also conducts thier own exam.The addmission is based on the rank you achieved in a JEE

Faculty of college is very supportive and encouraging. All the professor's and assistant professor are very deligent in nature. And the laboratory of the branches are very impressive. They have lab. Assistant thier which are helping in doing experiments
