Course Curriculum Overview

4

Choosing any course in any class is depend upon our interest. I like mathematics because everything here is based on calculation therefore I choose maths honours.Reading mathematics is exploring the world and without it nothing can be done in the world so it is the most important. To improve this we should always prefer standard book, note. Exam time for any subject is enough to write it.

Fees and Financial Aid

The B.Sc. program at BHU is affordable compared to other premier institutions in India. The fee structure and scholarships offered ensure that quality education remains accessible to students from all backgrounds. --- 1. Fee Structure for B.Sc. Programs at BHU The fee varies based on the specialization (Mathematics, Biology, etc.) and the category of the student (General, OBC, SC/ST). A. Year-Wise Fee Breakdown: B.Sc. Trends in Fee Revisions Historically, BHU has maintained a stable fee structure, with minimal annual increases to keep education accessible. Any future fee revisions are likely to be marginal and announced before the admission cycle. --- 4. Scholarships and Financial Aid BHU provides a variety of scholarships to reward merit and support economically disadvantaged students. A. Merit-Based Scholarships Top Performers: INR 4,000 and INR 3,000 for 1st and 2nd rank holders, respectively. Departmental Scholarships: Special incentives for students excelling in core subjects. B. Campus Life

Here are many annual festival are held named as Akansha,Kashiyatra ,Spandan, etc which are entertaining. Here is central Library which consists of lots of books and journals. One more Library named as Cyber Library is in this university where a lot of computer are kept for students. In the classrooms modern technology is used in which smart board and projecter are included. Nearly every month sports competition are held like outdoor and indoor type. The most important thing is that every student helps each other. Here are a lots of whatsapp group in which all universities information like academic, sports, competition are shared.

Admission

I had applied for many other universities like JNU,DU AU but I prefer BHU for many reasons. 1. Distance from by home to university is near. 2. Since childhood I wanted to study here . 3.I read about this university in newspaper which made me more excited to get admission in it. Other universities are as good as it is but they are so far from my village so I didn't choose them. I got rejected by JNU and DU due to my less marks in entrance examination. To get admission in this university following procedure is given. 1. Give entrance exam. 2. Envolve in counseling process if you feel that your entrance marks are enough to get admission in this university according to cutoff of the specific course in which you applied for. 3. After this you will receive a call latter from university for acceptance your admission. 4. After completing your payment offered by college your admission is confirmed. In BHU most applied course are Bsc,Ba,Bsc bio,Bsc ag etc. If you are completed you 12th with 55 % minimum then you are eligible to get enrolled in this course. Cutoff of this university is moderate compared to other universities.

Faculty

5

According to me faculty and students ratio in this university is near about 40 : 60. And relationship of faculty with students is really good. They always helps students to do any extracurricular activities. Here every month well being initiative program are held. I was bsc maths students in which my subject combination is PMG (Physics Math Geology). So here if I liked most any teacher/ professor that were geology professors also maths and physics professors are also good. There is no reason to dislike any faculty of any department. There are two exams first is mid term and second is semester exam. Questions asked in exam are always related to course which are delivered during lecture. I'm not sure how many students fails to clear the exam but nearly max 25% students always fails to clear exam if the questions paper is difficult otherwise all students pass the exam.

Interview Experience

4

To get admission there is written entrance test but no group discussion or interview but in phd admission there is interview. Clearing written entrance test we can easily get admission ine the desired course.

Night Life

3

Here most famous hangout place are madhuban park, vishwanath temple, Ganga ghats and famous Banaras temples .After the class students go to these places to relax yourself. In hostel, life becomes more interesting because here we get new friends from different states. We enjoy in hostel. In night most relaxing place outside the campus is Assi Ghat which is situated at the bank of the Ganga river. There are many other places inside and outside campus to explore for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose bsc bioinformatics as I love programming and research sector as I took pcb in 11th ... I couldn't go for btech ... But then I researched and found about this course which need computer skills with biology background.. a perfect match for someone like me.. after the pandemic and technical growth in biology sector .. bioinformatics became one of the most growing area .. In india it's rare to find people know about this is even a sector so yeah less competition and big opportunities to work abroad .. But I am pursuing this course in this college which have very bad curriculum..the faculty isn't proper to teach us about bioinformatics and we are just study the syllabus of biotech in a mixed class ... I will rate it's a bad idea to pursue bioinformatics from Swami vivekanand subharti university...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum starts from basics in the 1st year and proceeds to advance in the 3rd year. The topics are taught in depth in the 3rd year. Reading recommended books will provide a better perspective of the course. Question papers were simple in first 2 years but the last year questions were logistics and conceptual. Exams are conducted in mid semesters and end semesters. There are 2 semesters per year. B.Sc here consists of 3 years and 6 semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because this was the best-suited course according to my interests. Faculty members were very good they take care of students like their own kids. Student-teacher ratio was 4:1. Some professors were p.hd holders and some were qualified in research projects needed for this course. There used to be internal and external exams and the difficulty level were average.

Hindu College is a known college in the Moradabad area, and this is a government college. This college is situated in the middle of town. Hindu college is well equipped with labs, the fee is less. I have chosen this college due to fewer fees and good education. Physics and Mathematics department is famous for its faculties, not only in Moradabad but also in near cities.
