My college life

The course is a popular one amongst indians but in my opinion there are so many engineers in india and hence a huge lack in job opportunities therefore in think there can be better options than engineering because of the huge amount of engineers graduated every year and also the studies are more of theory based but it should be real life based on what the real work of s particular engineer is, the clgs should also provide industry exposures to students and make visits also provide and encourage certain internships and focus on skills rather than theory based courses

The students become eligible for placemtns from the third year, the campus offers great placement opportunities over 90 companies with top companies such as;- 1)microsoft:- avg 51LPA 2)google india:- avg 49LPA 3)abode:- avg 40 LPA 4)JP morgan:- 35 LPA 5)Amazon:- 15 to 34 LPA 6)ZS associates:- 13 LPA Approx 80% students as per 2023 got placement My plans after the degree is to do Mtech

For btech the fees is 1,86,000 per annum, the fees is not increasing, the hostel fees is as per:- 1) Single with ac:- 2,70,000 2)single without ac:- 2,10,000 3)double with ac:- 2,20,000 4) double without ac:- 1,90,000 The clg offers the students a scholarship through MAIT education society which helps as fee waivers or financial assistance, other fees like for id card is approx 250-300

Mait organise it's flagship annual tech fest, tech surge and mirdang typically held in April The library is huge and offers a capacity of 350 student seating at a time, it offers a huge amount of books, journals, magazines etc mait classrooms is well equipped with ACs projectors white boards and even smartboards in the more buildings. It hase students societies such as csi inovave gdsc iosd etc

I applied for clgs under ggsipu, srm University, thappar university and BITS Pilani, I got confirmation from the affiliated clgs of ggsipu, SRM sonipat, and also thappar i chose this clg because it is in my home state and i can stay with my family also it is one of the top clgs in delhi, I got rejected from bits cuz i could not clear the examination because it is a pretty though one I would say it is the level of jee advance so it is pretty tough, I also tried in nsut and dtu, I could get admission in nsut west campus but that is recently build so I found mait better, I could not get into the nsut main and east and dtu because that requires a great percentile, I scored 89.79 but still could not get into these clgs. My clg accepts examination such as jee mains and then is required to fill the ggsipu counselling and also ggsipu conducts its own examination also, for jee mains the cutoff of my clg is 94 95 percentile in jee mains for btech cse, but for my course ece it is 91 percentile although I got into the course because I have ece in advance communication

The faculty:student ratio is 1:40, the faculty student relationship is good however like every educational institutes some teachers are the best with very good and friendly behaviour while some are strict but all of them help every student in studies in all ways that they can, they are pretty easily approachable in the institute but do not pick calls or reply to msgs that easily which is not that big problem cuz it is understood that so many students try to contact them and they have a personal life after clg so it is okay because in the campus they are pretty easily approachable. There are 2 mid sems and 1 end sem per semester, the clg also allows an exam for the students detained due to any reason, the exams are at a mediocre level which is pretty easy to clear only the once who does not study are tend to not pass the exams the clg is affiliated to ggsipu so the end sem is organised by then in any other clg affiliated with ggsipu but the mid sems are held in the clg premises

The best hangout spots are it's caffetaries, library, and the resturant just outside the clg it also has gym, the main audi, and the new building, also the famous hangout places outside the clg is NSP and Rohini sector 10 11 market, the hostel timmings varries, the location is safe to roam around at night but it is advised to be in groups and use trustable transport sources especially during late hours because rohini is a developing area
