- Faculty members are well experienced and higly qualified. They are quite approachable and guide beyond the academic curriculum also help in finding internship and placement.
- Good coding environment in college. Highly competitive. Good tech societies help individuals to maximize their potential.
- Collage also organise industrial visit, helps to get internship and provides opportunities to find hidden talents in individuals though different societies.
Dislikes
- Small campus size, overcrowded space and common playground for MAIMS students
- Nearly no placement for core branches such as ECE , EE nad ME.
- No hostel for girls students and girls boys ratio is not upto mark it is nearly 1:7
Course Curriculum Overview
According to me course curriculum is good . Only one concern is that lab work required some improvement as there is less no. Of equipment. Also there should be one mid term instead of as more time spend in taking exams,which hindered students to explore themselves beyond course
Internships Opportunities
Student get internship on faculties refrence in many private or government institutions. Also in companies in Delhi NCR. No other sources in college to get internship and there is no tied up with companies for internship.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students can get placement. Good no. Of companies visited in campus such Deloitte, wipro, tcs, Infosys polestar. Good placement for cs and it branches. Almost 70 percent(among who participate in campus placement) get placement,but for core branches only few companies visited in campus and 20 percent students got placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
My yearly fees is 153900. Total amount of fees for four year b.tech course is 615600. It includes tuition fees, devlopment fess, alumuni fess(10k,one time). Collage provides good amount of scholarship for sc/st students nearly 1 lac per year. Student who have got admission through management have to pay upto 20 lac fess for course, amount varies as per brach example for cse it is about 20 lac. EWS scholarship is also there for those who need this.it include amount between 10k-40k(depending on academics performance and family background). Fees increases every year for new enrollment only, my juniors are paying 183000 per year fees for b.tech.
Campus Life
No fixed schedule for fest in campus sometime it happening some time not. Societies and club play major role in development of students Atom society for ece department one of the finest, have won many hacthons . Also tech societies are very good.
Admission
Fees for this is not too much high and also placement, these two things attract me to take admission in this college. I didn't apply for other colleges. One can get admission in this college on the basis of there jee mains rank, you have to apply for GGSIPU councelling and according to rank will get admission. Also get admission through management but for you have to pay more money. Lateral entry in 2nd year for diploma students
Faculty
Faculty and students ratio is good it is around 1:25. Faculties are easily approachable and very friendly. Dr. Mahim Sharma is one of best among them as he always available to help students beyond course. There are 2 mid term and one end term exam. Exams are easy, Students can score above 8 cgpa by practice last 4-5 pervious year questions.
Interview Experience
No there is no group discussion, interview or written test for the admission. Admission is based on councelling conducted by GGSIPU and after name come in merit list I verfied all my documents and got the admission
Night Life
There is gym in campus, 4 small cafeteria and one big cafeteria is there. Library run from 9:30 am to 5 pm. Hostel is only for boys. No hostel for girls in college campus. No good hangout places. Nearest hangout place is metro walk which is nearly 5 k.m from college . After 5:30 p.m no one allowed to enter in campus except hostel students.
