- The premises are very well maintained and beautiful. Almost all types of facilities are available in college including gym, banks, hospital and sports facilities
- If you are a decent student in studies you can get a good job offer as more than 100 companies visit VIT during placement season.
- The faculty are very supportive. They solve academics related problems as well as personal problems.
Dislikes
- VIT is a very crowded. Average strength of a class is 60 and there are more than 2000 students in Computer science.
- College rules are very strict related to dressing and outing.
- Students have to pay for the annual fest of VIT 'Riviera' but that fest is worth money
Course Curriculum Overview
VIT have a very professional type of course curriculum which makes a student industry ready. They put pressure in students so they know the real job pressure. Faculties provide real life projects during the semester to ensure a proper learning. The difficultly level of VIT exams are moderate. There's is nothing 1 night before study in VIT.
Internships Opportunities
Students gets internships after coming in 3rd year, Though VIT provides internships but students can get intership by themselves too. During 4 years there's a compulsory internship you have to do before final semester as the credits are provided for that.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are descent if you're a moderate in studies. VIT provide tonn of opportunities to students who are willing to study further. Also they provide internship to students who had a a CGPA above 8
Fees and Financial Aid
VIT has fee structure depends on different category. Students under category have to pay 2lacks as one year tuition fee whereas category 2 students have to pay 3 lacks and this goes upto category 5. Students who secured under rank under 500 in VITEEE gets scholarship depends on their merit. VIT also conducts different types for scholarship exams.
Campus Life
VIT conducts 2 fest during an year. The technical fest is called Gravitas and the cultural fest is Riviera. VIT has a huge library that have over 1 lacs of books. Sports facilities are very well maintained in VIT as there's 3 gym, 3 basketball court, 2 volleyball court any many more inside the campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are very well maintained and well equipped with ACs. The cupboard and beds are well constructed. There's a monthly maintenance of AC. Mess provides a descent quality of food but mess food also depends on the Hostel as some hostel have good catering services.
Admission
VIT provides a smoking free campus and punishes the students who ever try to do in campus. VIT takes admission through their own VITEEE examination which is a rank based examination similar to JEE.
Faculty
Teacher are basically nice to students but some teachers prefer the students who attends daily classes over the students who barely attend classes. Faculty are very well educated as well as they are best in their teaching field. Exams of VIT are taken during 3 times during a semester, CAT 1, CAT 2, and final assessment FAT. CAT 2 open book examination.
Night Life
There's no nightlife of VIT. Student can go to night library for study purpose or they can go to nightslip for clubs and chapters work despite of this there's nothing else in nightlife of VIT. You have to enter the campus premises before 9 PM or fine will be induced on you.
