My point of view for DTU

my course is bit tough in comparison to other courses but I chose this because i love studying circuits and all. the course curriculam is quite relevant and prepares me for real world applications of further academic pursuits. In my opinion our course faculty is quite rude or can say their teaching manner is not polite or they are very much strict to rules and regulations.

In my opinion the internships opportunities are less in dtu. the complanies I likes includes google. microsoft, adobe etc with more than stipend of 1 lakh per month. The opportuniies are less thats why competition is quite high for internships. The major companies come for SDE roles

The on-campus placements are good in DTU. The average package offered in 2024 was 15.45 lakhs and the average package offered in 2023 was 25 lakhs. The highest package was offered by atlassian of rs. 85.30 lakhs per annum. The overall percentage of students got placed was around 69.47%. above 150 complanies visited in dtu for placements.

fees can vary year to year. for me it was 240k for the first year and they add approximately 10k every year. other than this they gave us many scholarships or financial aid for economically weaker students. they also reward the students with good scores or high rankers. many government based scholarships are also available for the students

The overall campus life of dtu is very good and chill. The cultural annual fest of dtu is engifest which is held in february (north india biggest fest) and technical fest of dtu is invictus which is held just before engifest. There is one more fest which is yuvaan which is organised by lfc. Dtu's library is very big which cover almost all the books and journals. The classrooms are very good which give all the facilities and technological provisions. The sports complex of dtu is very well maintained and have all the major sports. There are many clubs to enhance our life. I personally joined the cultural council which taught me many things.

I applied for the colleges in delhi region including dtu, iiit delhi , nsut main campus etc.I got confirmed in all the above three colleges in any branch but I chose dellhi technoligical university over these because dtu's chill campus life, less strictness towards timings or other rules and regulations, biggest north india fest (engifest) etc. first of all I filled Jac delhi form and from there I got a seat in DTU (Electrical Engeneering). The cutoff for the above branch was high.

faculties are very much supportive. faculty to student relationship is quite good as when student want help from faculty they are easily approchable. I like my maths faculty because she is very supportive and helpful. I m in first year so I have 4 subjects of 4 credits and 2 subjects of 2 credits. we have basically two exams that are mid sems and end sems.

The nightlife of dtu is very good as the students can be seen roaming in all the campus ( especially around oat or amul lane). sports complex is also accessible and to a fix time gym is also accessible. The campus entry or exit is closed at sharp 11pm for both boys and girls.
