Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course courriculum is same as in most of the colleges , old patterns syllabus but if your study that old pattern syllabus to grass root and understand the depth of that syllabus rather than just only study for exams , then you will get a benefit of syllabus, otherwise you will only pass the exam not learnig the new skills.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportunity is also very good in our college, from 3rd year the campus internship is starts , and reptuted companies like amazon, google, Netflix etc are in the list of internship opportunity. Many students are also get an iternships of 1lakh stipend also.

Placement Experience

4

In our college campsu placement is very good, overall all branches have above 80% placement ratio, the average package is also nearly 15,00,000 in every branch, so placement is good. The reputed company are in the list of our college campus placement , like Amazon, Microsoft etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution of our college is nearly 1,55,000 per year and other components also added to this fee and per year fee become 2,36,000 in 2024 and it increases year by year, there is many types of scholrships in our college to benefit needy students, National scholarships, State level scholarships and there is a college fee concession facility also available for those who are not able to pay this heafty fee,

Campus Life

4

Our college campus is very beautiful and also big campus. So the campus life of your's is going to chill and relax. There is variety of socities in our college like Rocketry , IEEE, AIMS etc. If you are intrested in any field like Drama, Debate anything then this college is going to be best decision of your's

Admission

My first preference was this college, because i don't want to leave my state for unless if i was getting NIT or IIT, i was getting IIIT nagpur but when i compare both colleges then i find out that , DTU is best option for me , i had also the option for NSUT, but DTU My preference was DTU over NSUT , because in NSUT there is very strict curriculum of attendance and exams, In DTU there some leniency of attendance and exams so student get time for learning new skills

Faculty

4

In our college the assistant professors are not good enough for teaching, but seniors faculty and elective courses PHD scholars are also very good in terms of teaching, The exam pattern is same as in most of the colleges, in one semester there is 2 exams mid semester and end semester exams, but in our branch test is also conducted after completiton of 2 or 3 chapters for checking if student is regularly learning something new or not.

Night Life

4

I am a Regular Up Down student, means i am a day scholar so i have not much idea of night life in our college but i tell you my hostel friend expriences of night life in college, In night there is full safety of students inside college, outside college there is any food stalls,PG , Gym,etc . And there is also gym in college where you can spend time.

The placements percentage for top branches is around 80% and many big companies like Amazon, Uber, Google, Microsoft, etc. offer placements. After my degree I plan on securing a placement on the tech field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as **fairly comprehensive and reasonably relevant**, especially in terms of building a strong foundation in core engineering concepts. One of the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course was the **structured curriculum covering important fundamentals such as programming, data structures, mathematics, and core engineering subjects**, which are essential for both technical roles and higher studies. The curriculum provides a solid theoretical base and helps develop analytical thinking, but for real-world applications students often need to complement it with **projects, internships, coding practice, and self-learning**, since some topics are still taught in a more traditional or theoretical way. In terms of improvements, the curriculum could benefit from **more industry-oriented electives, practical assignments, updated lab work, and interactive teaching methods such as case studies or project-based learning**. The exam system typically includes **two major exams per semester — a mid-semester exam and an end-semester exam — along with internal assessments, quizzes, and assignments**. The exams are generally **moderate in difficulty**, and students who attend classes and prepare consistently are able to perform well, though the evaluation tends to focus more on conceptual understanding and written exams rather than purely practical skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really liked physics and applications of physics so chose mechanical engineering, as ut has a lot of application of physics directly can really see how things work not just ideally but actually Curriculum is really good besides getting assignments which noone takes seriously everyone just copies , there must be much more practical stuff so that everyone learns but we do get that in tech teams but not directly as a student in college. There must be practical teachings and proper guidance proper high level machineary must be there, industry visits must be there and internships in such companies must be encouraged There are 5 exams of 1.5 hour considered as mid sems and 6 exams of 3 hours considered as endsems

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really good, i was always intered in the Engineering perspective of cars, and I must say it tries to deliver but doesnt sicces that well, atleast till now. For example I was really interested to study IC Engines this semester, it was a 4 credit main course, but I got RGautam as a teacher and in lab there are just artificial small models which are cross-section of various engines scaled down. So I felt really bad As I said earlier, the exams are relatively easy.
