Course Curriculum Overview
one of the primary reasons i choose the course is due to strong foundation in core engineering principles the inclusion of subjects such as data structure and algorithms, and digital logic design and computer design.

Nit durgapur offers a wide range of internship oppurtunities including various domains including Engineering Management Technology.stipend is around 20000 per month working on the amazon web services infosys and samsung are major ones
Placement Experience
placements at nit durgapur are very strong eligibility begins after the 6th semester. in some cases cgpa should be higher regarding the company companies. that visit are amazon ,oracle ,adobe ,tcs ,seimens .highest package is between 50 to 70 lpa and average package is between 10 to 15 lpa .plans after degee are higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
62500 is the yearly fee. tution fee is 32k and caution fee 5000 lab fees are 10k. other than my category they will pay 1 lakh per semester .there are many scholarships available for the students such as the caution fee is refundable there will be insttitute merit scholarships .and many others for ews scholarships will be given for students with top merit in gate.
Campus Life
one of the main highlights are there are many clubs cultural, technical clubs and sports club and social and volunteering groups and annual festives such as spring fest, and aarohan, library is well equipped.the library has well equipped rooms.
Hostel Facilities
room setup is generally bed with a study table,almirah and fan wifi acesses is available in the campus shared bathrooms are there in every floor and the rooms are generally cleaning maintained by the cleaning staff

NIT DURGAPUR has consitently been ranked as one of the top nits of india .and highly reputed it has a big plus because it has brand value associated with it eligibility process is through jee main examination.
Faculty
maintains fairly decent ratio of faculty to students which is 1:25 for most of the departments this ensures that most of the faculty can go to the students and interact eith them sometimes it feels unbalanced during peek academic period.
Night Life
the gym on the campus is open on evenings,but it generally closes by 10pm.The main cafeteria and food stalls on the campus are popular hangout spots,generally it closes by 10pm.hostel cerfew timings are generally around 11pm.
