- surely there are many technical societies that work , so if you want to learn and work you can do it here
- many events keep on happening so if you r someone who enjoys outside the class , it can be fun for you
- there are some faculties that will help going out of their way so keep an eye for them
Dislikes
- campus size could have been bigger , its not 40 acres
- not enough research opportunities, could have more focus there
- no break between periods , from this sem they are trying to make attendance more solid for us
Course Curriculum Overview
i'm going to be partial here , if you take cse related branches IT also they all will have mostly the same curriculum that will be way easier to wrap your head around as compared to ece curriculum. We all know that in india they are still teaching stuff from 10 years before , so study as much you need to focus in what you really want to do . Exam will be moderate most of te times depends on the subject and whether it is calculative , theory or both
Internships Opportunities
there is internship mela , its the name . it happens around summer mainly for 3 -4 year students but 2 years can also go in some of them . Even if you dont get from college dont worry by the tiime you would ne in clg you will find them off campus too
Placement Experience
definetly companies come to college and do take a lot of students with them , mainly from IT sector . Most of the companies doesn't see your branch instead your skills and gpa too , many will say it doesn't matter much but it does and also it feels good to be at the top at your class. Lat year around 75-79% students got placed it's a good amount considering present times. Highest package have been 1.2 cr in 2022 and above 50 lakhs in 23. none of them were from cse branch
Fees and Financial Aid
ok so i started out in 2023 in electronics and advance communication , the first year they take around 1,75,000 in which around 10,000 is a part of caution fees , majority of this goes towards tuition fees . It is similar for eveyone surely there are managment one that pay more to get in also there is scholarship present for ews section , but you apply after you enter the college .
Campus Life
There are numerous societies techinal and non-tech as well ,nss,ncc and sports teams for varoius sports. Time to time there are events held by different societies . In terms of sports there are sports day in college and sports of ipu and different tournaments around colleges in which we take part in , i'm talking about volleyball here cause i'm in the team. If any of you are wondering about girls to boys ratio in mait there were not so much girls till last year but in 24 there was lot of girls admission also there maims that is for managment , there are a lot of girls , so dont worry.
Admission
so the reason i got here was because of i couldn't get in any iit or nit , there were places in dtu and nsut but they were in lower branches also gave exams of bits ,gbu . I chose this just for the fact cause i heard it's name like yeah it a decent college. Didnt choose msit because there is a school like culture there and also no sports , so choose wisely
Faculty
well exams , in our college there happen two mid terms it doesn't take place in most of the other ipu colleges , so it is going to be a lot of work during that time . There are subjects in electronics speciffically that are not the ones to study in one day so be prepared a bit before . Faculty to student ratio is alright , but atthis point most of the things you will be doing on your own or colleagues except when you need referals or marks.
Night Life
the place i would say is the best , it takes 15 minutes from metro to college also the area doesn't have as such any good cafes or malls , there are near if you have car but if not then inside the campus there are i think 5-6 canteens , you can get things there. Most near would be nsp but it's still far
