What Students Say
Likes
- Huge green campus, subsidised canteen, with minimal interference with nature. The boy girl ratio is 80:20. Limited but experienced and knowledgeable faculty. Easy going course split in 4 sems accross 2 years. Teaching method is still primitive.
- The faculty is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They provide academic support wherever needed. Could use a little more support in the extra curricular front, for a more holistic development on the students.
Dislikes
- Huge strides in infra dev is needed along with a course revamp and rigorous check on funds (provision and use) and the power dynamics of people with POR (students or otherwise)
- A legal, university approved and regulated student body is needed (that looks after placements as well) in order to ensure fairness, transperancy and prevent any abuse or power or funds.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is theoretically intensive, and still coveres mlre of the primitive theories and very less emphasis on technology if any. The tech used itself is also a bit outdated as compared to other institutions. But the faculty nake the subjects interesting and fun to learn along with explaining the limited real world applications of the curriculum.
Placement Experience
For interships, the students are eligible in the 1st semester itself and for final placements, in the 3rd. The process conducted is not so transparent, quite a lot of loopholes. Around 60-70 percent of the batch gets placed depending on their capabilities and employability.
Fees and Financial Aid
Annual Fee (Payable at Admission) General Category: ?49,850 per year PwD Category: ?13,475 per year Includes tuition, student welfare, development, and support funds. Application Fee Two Programs: ?2,000 (?1,000 for SC/ST/PC) One Program: ?1,200 (?700 for SC/ST/PC)
Campus Life
A 4 and not a 3, purely due to the ROI that it delivered to me. Many academic events are hosted accross the year by different clubs and committees and the presence of a huge library provides a huge opportunity to access all sorts of academic content.
Admission
Lowest fees I could find, hence the best ROI, in a highly competitive and job scarce market (post covid). I had calls from other institutions but this provided a better ROI, was on my home city/state and easy going due to the semester system.
Faculty
The faculty is extremely well learned, knowledgeable, experienced, professional, kind and academically supportive. The course is sem based, 4 semester across 2 years along with a year long research project to be done kn the final year.
Night Life
There is nothing to hangout at, inside the campus at night time. Only the hostels are functioning, rest all is closed. There are no canteens or outlets of any kind inside the campus. The library though, is open 24*7.
