Remarks

A very good college located in the suburbs of Mumbai providing not only book education but also a lot more than that. Very near to Vasai Road railway station so easily accessible. Great infrastructure providing every corner you wish to have in your college. Overall a college to be worth it for four years of your engineering career.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is absolutely perfect according to me. The subjects, lecture timings, other curricular activities, etc everything is arranged properly. The examination is also taken in regular periods. Two internal tests of 20 marks each are taken before the final semester exam. It helps score well in final exams and also increase the overall pointer.

Placement Experience

4

The placement records of the college are very good. Every year more than 100 students get placed in various companies. Companies from various domains take part in the campus drive and help students frame their career. Internships are provided by the college but most of them are only for educational purpose, they are unpaid.

College Events

5

Three major events celebrated in the college are:- 1. Sports - Whole college takes part in all kinds of sports activities and it helps every student to take a break from the study environment. 2. Cultural Festival - Zeal. It is the 3 days extravaganza organised by the students' council and includes numerous events. 3. VNPS - Vidyavardhini's National Level Project Showcase. All the final year students showcase their final year projects and it becomes a tuff job for the evaluators to grade them. Apart from these three, many other small events are conducted in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure, as compared to other engineering colleges, is very much cheaper. The maximum fees per year is only about 1 Lakh rupees whereas in other colleges it is much more than that. Many concessions and scholarship schemes are also available for students from various categories to avail the benefits in fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

I belong to Muslim community and also EBC category. Scholarships for both these categories are available. The college and the office staff helps us to avail the benefits given by the government. I have availed 50% off on tuition fees as per the government scholarship scheme for EBC category. This has helped a lot to me and my family.

Campus Life

4

Many extracurricular activities like elocution competition, debate competition, kavi sammelan, quiz competition, etc are organised to test verbal abilities of students. Avahan - The sports fest of our college is attracted by every student. The labs are well equipped with high tech support.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very strong and many jobs are recently offered from the alumni members. The seniors are very much helpful by all means. May it be about curriculum or committee work or some issues with the faculty, the seniors always give a helping hand.

Admission

I gave MHT-CET and JEE-MAINS after my HSC. Filled the online CAP admission form for this college. Depending on my grade I was selected for the admission and further procedures took place. Freezing and confirming the admission was done by the college itself.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is well educated. Each of them are highly qualified and experienced. They are also very helpful in activities other than purely curriculum. The faculty not only teaches us according to the syllabus but also helps us with extra knowledge that will be helpful to us in future.
