College that limits your Potential or give you the WINGS

it is AKTU university Affiliated College , college have to taught the subject that were design by the college , lots of useless subjects like Phy , chem mechanical that were of no use in my Cs engineering , and also the Maths in both 1 2 semester , i don't understand what i got from this mathematics it have only calculus that i will not going to implement in anywhere , 1st year is totally waste because i didnt get anything that assign to my career . honestly curriculum is not preparing me for my real world aktu is just taughting the syllabus that was design before 20 yrs , only the useless subjects. i only want that the improvement should be in the currilum it should have those things that will going to help me to secure a good job

there is very few internships with stipend it is usually in the field of startup of the iits , students have to find the internship by their own , college didnt provide the internship . the students usually prepare the common projects copying from the youtube because they get mern stack trainning at 4th year , if this trainning were given to 2nd year then student can able to build some great innovative project by 4th year

students from 6th sem are elligible for the campus placements , very less tech companies visit in our campus that are also local companies offering 3 lpa apx package , non tech companies visit the campus more , offering upto 7 8 lpa , companies are Jaro education , geeksforgeeks ,HCLtech , superhouse etc etc, approx 15 16 students got selected by a company , the average package are offered are 4.5lpa and max according to be is 9 lpa , oncampus offer students are mainly placed through off campus at good package like 6lpa , 16 lpa , 20lpa , oncampus is maximus 7lpa apx 25% students are placed on campus 10 11% offcampus

So when i got admission the fees was 75k for 1st year and 85k from second year onward (10k for training and placement) , 1k for library fees and 2.2k for admission fees , it is same for all obc sc st and also for jee counselling students . but from 2024 onwards the fees increased for newly admitted batch i.e, 1.01lacs per annum , with 1k library fees and 2.1k apx for admission fees , student can pay the fees in 2 installment 1 in sept and other in march , the library fees is totally useless because we can only issue two books and it is not effective at the time of the exams , and also there is 7.5k fees for the AKTU university examination fees , this fees have to paid by all the aktu affiliated college student . college donot provide any scholarship student can get the scholarship from UP gov , the priority is SC/OBC > gen+Jee main > gen. ,,,,,,,there is rare chance of getting scholarship if the student is gen category and without jee , scholarship amount is apx 55k , there is also a up gov girl scholarship upto 60k . hostel fees is 80k and bus fees is 27k can be paid in easy installment . apx 10 special seat for student who is financially weak or have lost parents , 100% waiver on their fees , only 7k fees for aktu examination

there are many fest and celebrations happens in our college like EXUBERANCE-annual fest , REETH- fresher's party , WINTER GALA- new year party , and festival celebrations . the library of the college is ok ok , i am not into books and journal but its a average library the facilities are ok in the classroom having a projector , 2 AC installed in every classroom that donot produce the cooling , the person sitting 3 meter of the AC can get cool air , there is no Switch board in the class to charge the Laptops , No wife connection in classroom , only at labs sports are zero in Allenhouse students only play volleyball , the college field got shorter because of new building , No extracurricular activities in the college only coding , students usually come together at the time of fest to prepare for the performance there are lots of club and social group but not lead by the student , lots of facultu interference in the clubs which result in creadiblity loss of the club

i want to study in kanpur , as every student the top priority is PSIT because it the renounced college , my school senior are there in that college , i ask them i get various insight like you have to maintain 90% attendance and if you want to upskill yourself or have to prepare for the gate then you didnot gate the time , because of the college attendance and timing , and also the fees is very high therefore i didnt went to PSIT. i have also heard about the KIT , but i get to know that there is not rules and regulations in the college nor the discipline, students are just fighting bunking clg and all. then i heard about allenhouse , i like that because it have possitive image and also have less fees . I SELECTED ALLENHOUSE BECAUSE I KNOW TO GET A GOOD JOB I HAVE TO APPLY FOR OFFCAMPUS NEITHER PSIT NOR ANY OTHER 2 3 TIER PRIVATE COLLEGE CAN LAND ME TO A COMPANY OF 20LPA , THEREFORE I SELECTED ALLENHOUSE BECAUSE I CAN UPSKILL MYSELF AS THERE IS 75% ATTENDANCE AND ALSO SOME STUDENTS ALLOWED TO SKIP CLASSES TO UPSKILLS THEMSELVE WHICH IS NOT IN PSIT IF YOU SKIP THE CLASS YOU HAVE TO PAY THOUSAND OF RUPPEE FINE

maximum faculty are great in term of understanding , helping , knowledge etc etc , the faculty of higher post like directors deans , they are very very supportive and act like a mentor , directors- manoj sir , rubby maam , atul sir are really supportive , student can easily visit their cabin and they also address their ask and problems , deans - anshuman sir , varun sir , dev sir , deepeeka ma'am, are really supportive in term of academics , issue solving , financial issue , hod- shaswat sir , sudhir sir act like parents that understand students problem , listen them and solve them , teachers like rashmi ma'am(phy.) , poorvi ma'am(soft skills), vivek sir(maths) are the best teacher for me , they have a huge impact on my academics , i don't maths at all but vivek sir extra lectures make me feel like it's a heaven of knowledge for me , rashmi ma'am structured the phy. syllabus an teaching in such a way that i never need to turn the pages to revise the concept , poorvi ma'am make the learning enhance by her fun and cool atmosphere of teaching . there were also some faculty that only teach so that student can pass their exams and only teach syllabus centric, this i dont like. there are three exam CT1 CT2 PUT , CT1 is easy and CT2 is moderate PUT is easy because at PUT time student usually get prepared. only 30% of student pass the test exams , because only 30 40% are serious in their study rest are only for the degree. the course curriculum is irrelevant we have to student chemistry , mechenical , physics , Soft Skills(theory) these subject in first year which are of no use in btech Cs are Human Values, constitution in 2nd 3rd year which are also of no use

the campus is very small , and it is like a school , gym are for hostelers, college has a good cafeteria , there is no public are where a student can chill in the campus , the faculty are very judgemental they judge if they saw a boy girl sitting together , lots of interference in student personal life , the college is situtated at the side of Highway and near the Village , so there is no specifics outside spots were student can hangout , according to me the locality is not safe at night , because its a village and very less population at the area and also a difficulty to get a public transport at offtiming of the college
