Remarks

The only problem with the faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication is the infrastructure. The whole infrastructure of the faculty is very much shabby with the toilets are not in proper condition majority of the time.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is also very much complete though. The course includes almost all the genres of both the practical and subjective performance of the same. The practical course is very much engaging though.

Placement Experience

2.5

Not sure about this strata. Because as I am in bachelor's section so hardly have any idea on this topic. But it is to be known that the faculty alumini are not bad placed. But feel that this section of the faculty can be improved.

College Events

4.5

Faculty fests, major festivals and almost all media related topics and dates are planned and celebrated with great spirits. The faculty fest Kaafila is always a great fun and people from various faculty come and practice in the same.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is comparitivelly okay in comparison to other college supplying the same course. But still if possible some changes in the fees structure would be great though. But it's not a great concern.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hardly have any idea regarding the scholarship scheme as these things are never talked about by any of the faculty members and any teachers as well. If there any then the students are hardly aware of this.

Campus Life

1.5

The extra curricular activities are at a below par than what we expected in real sense from the name faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication. So if any changes in the same would be great for the students.

Alumni/Alumna

Surprisingly yes. The faculty alumini are very much engaging with the students and the on field are very much interesting. Regular seminars from them is a common thing at the faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Admission

The admission in the college is a smooth process. The structure was simple and had amalgamation of written test, group discussion and personal interview. All the three phases were very competitive and very much interactive.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication is very sounding and very happening. The faculty is always in a great atmosphere and all the teachers over there are very helpful and always make us feel home.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course fortunately covers various dimensions of the media field, but I feel that it lacks information on core Journalism. To be specific, while the curriculum has topics like writing and editing for print media, there is no mention of topics like page design and editing, due to which the students lack the necessary skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very well designed but not updated as per the recent industry standards if the respective fields. There are no subjects lile vontent writing or learning graphic designing as it's requied in the feild of mass communication. I wanted to learn news anchoring as that's why I remeber joining this course but there is no training to the practical aspects. If they add certificate courses or workshops on things that the industry is requiring it will make the students good enoug to go and earn as soon as the graduate. The exams are taken at teh very right times and the frequency is goo the difficulty level is same for student wo attend and the one who never came to college even once in the entire semester

Once you reach to 5th sem, you are supposed to do a compulsory academic internship and in the 6th semester, you might get placed based on your 5th sem internship performance. I don't know much about the insiders but the placement cell is very active for other departments as well.

Campus placements are the best part of the university. From the last semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Times of India, Hindustan Times, Dainik Bhaskar, Danik Navjyoti, CNN, Sandesh, Star TV Network visited the campus. The internship opportunity is also really good. Almost 85% of students get campus placements. I want to be a news anchor after the completion of my degree.
