Remarks

I didn't attend any other college examination procedure and also I didn't avail myself of any quota for admission. When I joined it was 50% in the 12th board examination and there was GD and Pi and personality test and the time of admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Examination on different evaluation bases is done. Out of hundred marks, 60 is for internals and 40 marks are for externals. Different assignments are given time and also so and semester exams are taken timely.

Internships Opportunities

4

I am currently doing client servicing from Cognito India, which is Vadodara based advertising agency, many are doing their internship from Ahemdabad and Surat as well, and that too in TV channels, PR agencies, and event management agencies.

Placement Experience

4

Once you reach to 5th sem, you are supposed to do a compulsory academic internship and in the 6th semester, you might get placed based on your 5th sem internship performance. I don't know much about the insiders but the placement cell is very active for other departments as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester for BA journalism and mass communication, the fees are 42000, and hostel fees is one lakh thirty thousand per year. Many outsider students live nearby college by renting PGs or flats. But very less live in a hostel

Campus Life

4

Each department every month uphold their event, as well as different cultural clubs, organize events. Looking at the library mostly books are available for every field, section wise and many journals are also there for references. There is a sports room consisting of two table tennis tables and many other types of equipment for different sports such as cricket volleyball football and also there is a mini gym inside the sports room.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

In the first year, I rented a hostel room it was a bit okayish. That's why I left the hostel in the second year and started living in a rented apartment. About the hostel, I don't know much but the food inside the College canteen is also okay.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course fortunately covers various dimensions of the media field, but I feel that it lacks information on core Journalism. To be specific, while the curriculum has topics like writing and editing for print media, there is no mention of topics like page design and editing, due to which the students lack the necessary skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very well designed but not updated as per the recent industry standards if the respective fields. There are no subjects lile vontent writing or learning graphic designing as it's requied in the feild of mass communication. I wanted to learn news anchoring as that's why I remeber joining this course but there is no training to the practical aspects. If they add certificate courses or workshops on things that the industry is requiring it will make the students good enoug to go and earn as soon as the graduate. The exams are taken at teh very right times and the frequency is goo the difficulty level is same for student wo attend and the one who never came to college even once in the entire semester

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are the best part of the university. From the last semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Times of India, Hindustan Times, Dainik Bhaskar, Danik Navjyoti, CNN, Sandesh, Star TV Network visited the campus. The internship opportunity is also really good. Almost 85% of students get campus placements. I want to be a news anchor after the completion of my degree.
