- ITM SLS Baroda Unioffers a very reasonable fee structure of around ₹1.2L per year, which is great for IT students. The availability of scholarships like MYSY and Digital Gujarat for SC/ST categories makes quality education accessible and stress-free.
- In Itm university lty members are highly qualified and always ready to help with our doubts. Beyond academics, the campus life is very vibrant with many cultural events and technical fests that help in the overall personality development of students.
- Itm university has modern infrastructure with high-tech computer labs that are essential for our IT curriculum. The campus environment is peaceful for studying, and the library is well-stocked with the latest technical books and digital resources.
Dislikes
- The placement cell needs more active engagement with top-tier IT companies. While some local firms visit, I feel training for technical interviews and soft skills should start from the 2nd semester to better prepare us for competitive MNC roles now.
- The university canteen offers very limited food options and the menu feels quite repetitive daily. For students staying long hours for labs and projects, having a wider variety of healthy, affordable, and fresh meal choices is extremely necessary.
- The attendance criteria are very rigid and leave little room for self-study or pursuing external technical certifications. A bit more flexibility would allow IT students to focus on building real-world projects and learning new coding languages.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is industry-aligned, focusing on practical coding and lab work. It prepares us well for real-world IT tasks. However, updating syllabus with AI trends and adding more hands-on workshops would be better. Exams are moderate and timely.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of our college is Rs 70000, all tuition fees, registration free, admission free download, all together this is our fees.Infrastructure and labs are modern, with helpful faculty.I belong to OBC category and my friend is also from OBC category.
Campus Life
Coming to ITM SLS Baroda University has benefited me in photography, video editing and self-confidence.My campus experience is also very good, I have also made many videos here.The infrastructure here is also very good, it is full of greenery, we also have terracotta here.
Admission
I saw this college on its website. I was sitting with my uncle and I liked the journalism department here and I liked video editing so I took admission in this course. I didn't apply elsewhere because I thought this was the best place.
Faculty
The faculty is highly qualified and approachable. The course curriculum is industry-relevant with a mix of theory and labs. We have mid-sem and end-sem exams which are moderate. Marking is fair, though 10% of students find technical papers tough.
Night Life
In the hostel, we play in Ashoka Garden at night. I go to the gym at 8:00 and there is a gazebo here, we can sit there.I have been staying in a hostel here, so I have the advantage that if I need to go out at any time, I can do so by using an out pass.
