Course Curriculum Overview
Honestly, I was not going to take persue this course or any other as I have different plans. But somehow I'm persuing in this course and this is the best thing happened to me. As I want to be a part of this industry and it here I'm getting practical exposure. The course or the way the faculty explains is comprehensive enough.
Internships Opportunities
After the semester ends I'm going on internship in 70mm concepts. You will have a opportunity to work in radio mirchi, times of india, wide angle studio etc. depends on your interest. In this course you will have internship opportunities every semester.
Placement Experience
In this course, two of my seniors got job and doing it. Every semester you will get internship facility which will help you to build your cv. Right now placement percentage is 100% as my two seniors got job before the end of their semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
all over the course fees is around 210000. the amount is all good and ok compared to the facilities are provided. The studio is very awesome, camera's, faculty and overall campus is very good. the workshops they provide for enhancing learning is so good.
Campus Life
My overall experience in ITM SLS Baroda university is awesome, the campus is surrounded by greenary which gives a good environment for studying, the infrastructure and equipments in the studio are fantastic.
Admission
Initially, I was about to take admission in b-tech but I really wanted to persue filmmaking and this course offers exposure to the industry. The studio of ITM SLS Baroda university is better than any other studio of any college in vadodara.
Faculty
The faculty is very friendly and always try to push the students to their limits. They frequently approach students to take participate in other departments event to gain experience. In this course, faculty and student ratio is 5:17
Interview Experience
At the time of admission, the interviewer asked me 1)what are my expectations with this course? 2) in which field I want to grow? 3)is there anything I have done related to the course? 4) what do you want to become? And after answering the above questions, they give me a reality check which is the only reason I'm here. Honestly, there will be so many colleges which will give fake hopes for admission, but here I got reality check.
Night Life
As a day scholar i don't know about the night life, but I have friends in hostel who have shared their experience. In night there are restrictions for both boys and girls because of safety purpose. In campus we have gazebo which is the hangout spot in day and night. And a canteen called Samras.
