Remarks

Yeah everything is good except for sometimes there is a bit of mismanagement.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The first year is introductory which is why there are many other subjects that you may feel are useless to your field but it helps open your mind. From second year the studies are more practical than theoretical.

Placement Experience

3

I have just completed my first year. They provide an internship at the end of every semester. The first internship was more learning than experience then second one was quite experiential. I don't have any idea about jobs and placements now.

College Events

4

My college organises both kind of events, student organised as well as faculty organised. We celebrate all the festivals here like Navratri, Holi, Diwali. Many esteemed celebrities also come over and Events are held for it. Also Hackathon are held every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is a bit expensive. It's about 75000 Rs per semester. All to be paid at once by cheque or DD no cash before beginning of semester. So we can call it a bit expensive but the infrastructure is good so it's worth it.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no loan facility but they do provide merit based scholarship based on every semester's marks.

Campus Life

5

We have basketball court, a huge ground, meditation room, Science of Living as a compulsory subject.

Alumni/Alumna

They have all turned out to be successful in their fields and some of them are even successful enterpreneurs.

Admission

You fill the admission form after which you are called for entrance test and then you are called for a Personal Interview. The admission letter is sent to your place if you are selected. Also an email is sent.

Faculty

3.5

All have worked in the field itself before joining as faculty hence they have much experience to be shared. For example I am studying Journalism and Mass Communication so all of my faculties have worked as an editor or journalist in some way.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course fortunately covers various dimensions of the media field, but I feel that it lacks information on core Journalism. To be specific, while the curriculum has topics like writing and editing for print media, there is no mention of topics like page design and editing, due to which the students lack the necessary skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very well designed but not updated as per the recent industry standards if the respective fields. There are no subjects lile vontent writing or learning graphic designing as it's requied in the feild of mass communication. I wanted to learn news anchoring as that's why I remeber joining this course but there is no training to the practical aspects. If they add certificate courses or workshops on things that the industry is requiring it will make the students good enoug to go and earn as soon as the graduate. The exams are taken at teh very right times and the frequency is goo the difficulty level is same for student wo attend and the one who never came to college even once in the entire semester

Once you reach to 5th sem, you are supposed to do a compulsory academic internship and in the 6th semester, you might get placed based on your 5th sem internship performance. I don't know much about the insiders but the placement cell is very active for other departments as well.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are the best part of the university. From the last semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Times of India, Hindustan Times, Dainik Bhaskar, Danik Navjyoti, CNN, Sandesh, Star TV Network visited the campus. The internship opportunity is also really good. Almost 85% of students get campus placements. I want to be a news anchor after the completion of my degree.
