Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Mass communication is overall a practical based subject you lear with the help of practical things only. Giving you more feild exposure. Exams are still writen but are not that tipical if you attend lectures daily and take the practical knowledge

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are not in capus but the director have got good approach if you ask him once for any job he'll just dial a call and voila you got an interview to give. I really wanna pursue MBA after this in mass communication only as it inhance the course ability more

Fees and Financial Aid

Its a semester vise course. 2 semester per year and each semester fees is 45000 that also include exam fees and others...too. We have to pay extra 3000 as security fees in library once only. Other than that there is no other extra charges required.

Campus Life

4.5

Club activities are there to enjoy every week. An main event is held in every 3 months. Other than that there is annual day cultural day and many other days to enjoy the college life to its best. We do have library access with all our projects also showcased there but books are very limited

Admission

I applied to this college as the director is a very cheerful person to be around with and obviously very knowledgeable. We just have to fill the form for the admission one or the other faculty will show you around the campus let you know the things and then meeting the director is another fun part

Faculty

4.5

There are 4 main faculty that includes the director Mr.Hari Desai. Othere than that we have guest faculties coming every week for their respective lectures and even we have weekly seminars from various field specialist

Other Applied Colleges

National Institute of Mass Communication and Journalism - [NIMCJ] | Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication [BJMC]

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course fortunately covers various dimensions of the media field, but I feel that it lacks information on core Journalism. To be specific, while the curriculum has topics like writing and editing for print media, there is no mention of topics like page design and editing, due to which the students lack the necessary skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very well designed but not updated as per the recent industry standards if the respective fields. There are no subjects lile vontent writing or learning graphic designing as it's requied in the feild of mass communication. I wanted to learn news anchoring as that's why I remeber joining this course but there is no training to the practical aspects. If they add certificate courses or workshops on things that the industry is requiring it will make the students good enoug to go and earn as soon as the graduate. The exams are taken at teh very right times and the frequency is goo the difficulty level is same for student wo attend and the one who never came to college even once in the entire semester

Once you reach to 5th sem, you are supposed to do a compulsory academic internship and in the 6th semester, you might get placed based on your 5th sem internship performance. I don't know much about the insiders but the placement cell is very active for other departments as well.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are the best part of the university. From the last semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Times of India, Hindustan Times, Dainik Bhaskar, Danik Navjyoti, CNN, Sandesh, Star TV Network visited the campus. The internship opportunity is also really good. Almost 85% of students get campus placements. I want to be a news anchor after the completion of my degree.
