Likes

The availability of sports as well as study curriculum is very nice
The infrastructure and the libraries are upto the mark and very pleasing
Faculty are very well qualified and very friendly

Dislikes

The timings of my classes and the parking area
The unnecessary compulsion of wearing formal uniform
Not enough emphasis on speaking English and other languages

Course Curriculum Overview

The internships here and the modern technology in relation to AI and other courses...like machine learning.. there are examinations every 2 months and the level of difficulty is challenging that is good..

Internships Opportunities

Companies like TCS Cisco are very good and take a no. Of good students and give them opportunities to study and tackle the corporate life ... Big companies like infosys and ADOBE also pick good candidates from here which is my goal as well

Placement Experience

5th semester is the time when companies come... But usually companies start arriving in last year of college as well.. I think 40-50 percent of students get decent placements here which is a nice thing for me

Fees and Financial Aid

It's a very good college... Especially for btech.. I have had the opportunity to get admission here.. the atmosphere is nice and the college placement scheme is also very good... Very satisfying... I've had the chance to meet many good people here.. and whoever is reading this i would love for anyone to be in my college ?? My tuition fees is 200000 per year... Total is 16 lakh for the entire course

Campus Life

Grafest is my favourite festival...it happens every year and I am just totally in love with it... The libraries here have a very good way of functioning and most books are available here so it kinda is a paradise for people who love to read

Admission

I did not apply to any other college except for this one because it was my dream to be here as it is close to my house too.. and my siblings also studied from here and I was advised by people to get addmission here and I could not be happier

Faculty

40:1 faculty ratio... I love the faculty here they are very good people and very friendly...I love being a part of this college We have mid term and end term... Two examinations per semester .. I would really advise people to be in this college

Night Life

I have not had any experience in nightlife as I am not into that ... But yes the overall atmosphere outside college even at night is very good.. very tempting but if you are careful then it is a very nice place to study as well as enjoy your college life

Qunatum university

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

GEU has the best Placements!

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.
