I like how our teachers doing their best in teaching so that we can hav a bright future ahead

Dislikes

I don't like how some students chew tobacco and spit on the wall
Some times there is no water and so smelle
Sometimes i don't like how some students disrespect the teachers

I choose sociology course because i like how sociology helps us understand how social, cultural and improve the quality life for everyone and I'm so happy that i choose this course for my B.A and I'm also excited how things will go

Hello my name is miatholhuno Viiprii currently doing my B.A 2nd semester in sociology and I'm staying in hostel for hostel fees it was 2500 monthly for scholarship i didn't apply for scholarship last previous year for the college we don't hav monthly fees just admission.

Campus Life

So we hav sports every year for three days it brings out joy happiness and we also hav other festival or occasion like teachers day, foundation day, cultural day,etc .we also outing by department department

Admission

I choose kohima college kohima because it has a nice environment and nature and i heard how the doing their best to teach the students at first i was scared what if i didn't get selected but when the result was out for selected students i was so happy to be one of them

Faculty

We have so many faculties in our college my favourite faculties is sir medongulie sir he is so friendly and his lectures is so understandable and we hav 2 exams in every semester i.e, internal exam and external exam

Night Life

For the hangout with friends During free time we usually visit canteen and after the class i stay in hostel so after cls is over i usually go back directly to hostel have food do my assignment and study

My College-Pros and Cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose for Economics because for me unlike other subject economics is a reliable course which has a good rate of success in career and also has things to do with real life implications. Everything around us that involves money is economics! From exports and imports to buying sugar from the local shops involves the fundamentals of economics, therefore I think taking economics provides a lead in life because it teaches us how the economic world functions and provides knowledge both mathematically and theoretically which keeps us updated and aware. Unlike other subjects which has limited exams and only allows the students to write specific exams, economics has exams its own exam which provides us employment in the financial sectors and also if a person does not want to opt for it they can also appear other exams which provides them advantage. However, learning is great but learning and implying the learned knowledge makes us know more about the learned topics, therefore I would also like to say that providing students the opportunity to explore and giving them the chance to imply those mathematical equations in real life could be an area the institution could work better on.

Remarks:

Our college has all the infrastructures that a student need for basic learning but not all for a complete standardized exposure linked to our talents. The attendance weight age is quite attentively followed and students may be dropped just because of the attendance. It's quite far from here town so, usually alot of people stay in the hostel, and staying in the hostel seems to be painful since the areas adjoin the college is a highway, and we don't have access to towns and good shops nearby in order to get our need full filled. Apart from my studies I'm also having a good time with my professors.
