Likes
- I liked the affordability of the course, keeping in mind that this is a private university.
- The Faculty members and Lectures are very friendly and well educated, and are up to date, and they have a good flexible way of teaching methods. But you've to attend their classes at first place to get their best expertise.
- Talking about placements, there's an average package of minimum 6-7LPA and for this year the highest package is 37LPA.
Dislikes
- It has a busy schedule of simultaneous assignment, internal, and terms exams. That keep students busy, it may be good in other ways
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum prepares you well for real world application, there might some improvements in coding courses. There are mainly two term wise exams namely midterm(20)and end-term(40) within a semester and there are other exams also, like practical internal and assignments, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Admission Fee:- 20,000(one time payment) Tution Fee:- 55,000/semester, thus 1,10,000/year Student Activity Fee:- 3000/year Scholarship:- A decent amount of scholarship is also available for the SC/ST/OBC students under NSP schemes, and there are also various other merit based Scholarship.
Campus Life
Mainly there are two fests that are celebrated in ICFAI per year one is NOVATOS(in odd semester) and the other one is ICARIA(in even semester) One is celebrated in the month of Sep-Oct and the other one is in Feb-Mar. There's a decent library where you can get a wide variety of books There are various computer lab, 3D printing lab, and all other sorts of lab, where you can do your work. About sports there are well maintained playground and courts, for cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, etc. And there are few Student-run social groups present inside the University.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are okay not very fancy not very bad. The rooms are nice well maintained, like it has tiled floors, you'll get a nice bed, a table and chairs along with an attached concrete almirah. About Mess food it's okay ????
Admission
I choose this college because it is a renowned college of our state, and for it's affordability. It's a very simple process. Firstly, talking about eligibility you've to score atleast 50% in 12th board in PCM subject, then you've to register yourself in Respective department, where you've to deposit 20,000+10,000. And once you're registered you may join your course.
Faculty
Our faculties approach towards us(students) is positive and friendly Talking about exams, its pretty much clear that you've to maintain 75% attendance, and if not you've to give an application to the respected HOD, and after his consideration you're allowed to sit in the exam. There are two main exams one is mid-term(20) and other one is end-term(40), along with internal test and assignment.
Night Life
Tere is a decent cafeteria inside the university, along with a good public area where you can spent your time, there's a well maintained garden, and most importantly a nice gym which is built this year(2025). For hangout, there's Kamalghat market near the university, and in every Saturday and Sunday you can go to Radhanagar, by university buses free of cost where you can roam the Agartala city.
