Remarks
No permanent faculty has to be the biggest flaw. The course is great but they need people for the execution. We need a better lab for microbiological testings but otherwise great. Now I'm running out of things to say.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite good. It was challenging and trained us to think in a certain way. The only problem was we had limited recources including the professors. Other than that it was a delight.
Placement Experience
Our curriculum reqires us to complete certain hours of internship. We had to search for the internships. We were not given any contact number. And it was really hard to get an internship when you have no contacts whatsoever. There was no stipend given for any of my batchmates including me for our internships. There is no placement in our college. Which i think they must start. It is much needed.
College Events
We had our freshers day, sports day, a one day trip, 2 educational visits, and a sports day. But none of us doing this course had any time for leisure so we could never attend any other events. We used to be always jealous of the engineering colleges because it was always lit over there.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Okay so this ones good. Our course is aided by the government so the fees is quite less. We had to pay 20k/year which included an access to an amazing library, a good lab. The other expenses include the food and the notes that you have to take prints of.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since the fees is quite low as compared to other courses available at the S.N.D.T Women's University, i dont think there are any scholarships for this course. But the administration department can give you a little time to pay your fees if your reason is genuine.
Campus Life
The labs are good but not the best. Sports, you wont have much time to play, but we do have a gym in the campus if you ever feel like working out. The campus is really beautiful. Blanks right now very pretty.
Alumni/Alumna
I just recently passed out so i have no clue. But they do take your details and an alumini fee is listed on your fee receipt. So I'm guessing they do have something in place. Arre come on i dont have 200 words on this topic.
Admission
I got in through the in-house categroy since i studied in the same university for my graduation. We had merit based selection and also had an entrance exam after which we had an interview conducted by the faculty.
Faculty
We didnt have a permanent faculty in our college. It was mostly retired faculty and some part time professors teaching us. But special thanks to my guide Dr S.A. Udipi. She has helped us immensly throughout our Masters.
