Course Curriculum Overview

NCCS, Pune provides a full-time 3 years for completing Phd. to the students. Students are also given training programmes which are of 5-10 months. Students are allowed to extend the time but less than 5 months is strictly not allowed. The college does not allow part-time students.

Placement Experience

The college provides student research and training projects which builds up the required skills in the students. Thus, due to the efficiency in the all the college works and studies, the job opportunities are very high and also the stipend and security is high.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The general fees of the college is Rs.55,000 annually for 3 years. This is a very feasible amount considering NCCS a private college and for Phd. I found this a good fee to complete my Phd with and most importantly the college is worth all of it.

Campus Life

The college has a great campus with all the up-to-dated facilities and modern technology all around the college providing students all means to gain knowledge. Though, the college does not have a lot of activities as it is highly focused on academics.

Admission

I had already completed my post-graduation in biology and my score was above 50% thus I was selected for the basic entrance. Then, my interview was taken at the college during which one is asked to submit the required documents. The admission mode is completely offline but you can apply for the college through the official NCCS website.

Faculty

The college has a great faculty which is also divided according to their works and sections. The college faculty is very initiative and also very encouraging towards studies with a helping and progressive ambiance in the college.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester of the course, students are eligible for placements on campus. The pharma, textile, and chemical-related industries are the key recruiters in the campus. In my best knowledge, there is the highest package offered by a company to the student is 18L p.a. Approximately 75% of students get placed in the campus placements. I will go for my higher studies.

Truth about my college

Admission:

I opt for this institute as its All India Rank is 1 in best Institutes. For admission in Ph.D., you should qualify either CSIR NET or GATE so that you are eligible to be called for an interview. The interview procedure is the same as that of other institutions. You have to prepare for the interview as per your syllabus and give your best.

Good College

Remarks:

No permanent faculty has to be the biggest flaw. The course is great but they need people for the execution. We need a better lab for microbiological testings but otherwise great. Now I'm running out of things to say.

Roller coaster

Remarks:

The administrative department is very inefficient, any official works which only requires 15 minutes could take up to few days which hamper our day-to-day research schedule.
