Remarks

College for me is a dream come true! You knew my passion would bring me this far! NCCS has exceeded my expectations in all ways and know that I no longer study there, I am filled with nostalgia for the place and teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a lengthy 3-year course which is 100% research based. Whatever you have learnt in your graduation and post-graduation will be tested thoroughly in the course. The thesis paper you will write here will be very important for your career!

Placement Experience

4.5

No stipend is offered for the Ph.D but they offer excellent training programs of 5-10 months when you are in college. A plethora of internships are offered and many labs flock to our institute to recruit the top students!

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is barely Rs 55,000 for three years. Since we use state-of-the-art facilities and have access to exclusive resources for research and experiments, the amount is justified. Fee is collected annually by the administration.

Campus Life

The lab and library on our campus are so enthralling that you would just not want to leave them. The library has a massive collection of books, journals and e-resources. People of all communities mingle and co-exist happily.

Admission

You can apply for admission only if you secure 50% and above in your post-graduate degree. The you will have to go through a grueling interview to get selected. If you get a scholarship from CSIR or ICMR, then you get admission without interview.

Faculty

The faculty are authority in themselves! They all hold doctoral degrees and some even from famed foreign universities! They make sure we get exposure to the best papers, research and journals for our own thesis.

REAL INSIGHTS OF RIZVI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.
