Course Curriculum Overview
I have been interested in the tech field from the young age, and I had more interest on games, so I wanted to build and know how the games work so the best course that I could choose to work on games in the future I need to work on computer language skills, I chose BTech(CSE). Here in alliance University the college provides workshops on unity, unreal engine, and blender where it helps with my interest. The workshops / others events are conducted in a systematic manner, so I don't face any inconveniences.
Placement Experience
The placements are not that good but only a few students of our seniors got placement. From 7th sem the students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like HP, infosys visited but very less students got placed. After completing the degree i would like to do the Masters in Game Designing and development and work after it.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees need to pay for a BTech CSE(au/ml) is 2.5 lakhs. The registration fees which u need to pay is 25000, and there is no external lab fees or other fees. Our juniors pay fees of 3.5 lakhs and now they increased the fees for sub juniors upto 4.5 lakhs.
Campus Life
The most famous event that is celebrated in our college is Alliance literary festival (AFL). Where multiple authors and famous personalities are invited and interview them which gives you knowledge about vast things. Almost all the book related to the degree are available in the library. In every classroom a projector is used to explain and present the lecture and wifi is placed in every single classroom. The sports activities are conducted in a good way.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel has the best facilities in college, the food and meal quality is very good and tasty, and menu changes everyday. For Hostel registration we need to ay 15000 in advanced which is refundable. Abd it is quite expensive. I recently shifted to aprtment which is very good near byagadadenahalli.
Admission
At first I applied in Gitam universe, Bangalore. I wrote GAT which is the entrence exam of the college. And i applied at Presidency university compared to these Colleges the infrastructure, wheather conditions , location, placements, and the packages where better at 2022 so I chose Alliance University.
Faculty
Most faculty is very approachable but the thing is the way the faculty teaches is not good. Govardhan sir , our maths teacher where the way he teaches is very understandable and clarifiea the doubts very well.
Interview Experience
The GD topics were about awareness of dark web, etc,.... The test pattern is, there will be 50marks for internal marks and 50marks for end sem examination. I used to pull an all night to study. I even use library to study for tests.
Night Life
The gym, library, Hostels are closed at 9:30pm. The night life of university is not good and it is not safe to roam around the locality because of the locals. Where many fights and incidents happen outside the university.
