What Students Say
Likes
- Thing, I like the most are the faculty members as they are supportive and kind
- Another thing that I like about the college is the college Library cause it's very much maintained and has everything that I need
Dislikes
- The major thing that it is like about the colleges, the college location because it is situated far away from the nearest Metro Station. There is no hangout nearby college.
- Infrastructure is not so well maintained and it needs to be renovated
Course Curriculum Overview
I would say that the course curriculum is very irrelevant for the first semester because we have to study subjects like EVS , physics, chemistry, manufacturing, constitution, and subjects like these even after taking IT branch, which has no relation with the subjects, but we have to study them, but I cannot blame the college because in India and most of the colleges this curriculum is followed so we can't say anything, but I think the course curriculum should change, and it should be more focused on coding from the first year only
Internships Opportunities
I am a first year student, so I don't know much about the internships offered in the college, but I can tell what my senior told me so the companies visit the college for placements. Also give the internship offers and average stipend is around 50 K a month, and this is what I know
Placement Experience
from the eighth semester. Students are eligible for placements right now. I am in second semester, so I have not much idea about the placement but according to the official reports, many companies like Microsoft Google, Amazon, visit the college for the placement and the highest package was given by DE Shaw and the lowest was given by college, Duniya itself, nearly 85% of the student gets placed
Fees and Financial Aid
So the faces, very different for every year so for the first year, it is the highest because it includes admission fees, registration fees and everything so it is about one lakh and 95,000 and rest of the years. It is around 1,75,000 so total comes around seven lakhs and it is increasing every year, so it might be 7.5 lakhs. Also there are scholarships because the college is affiliated with IPU and it is government University so all the government scholarships like the EWS scholarship, the merit companies scholarship and the scholarship for SC/ST students is also applicable.
Campus Life
the annual fest is organised in the month of March or April and its name is techsurge and mridang and many other events are organised by the societies of the colleg., societies of the college are very much active, and you can find society for any type of interest. You have the college library is fast and contains every book or journal may needed the sports facilities are pathetic, and I don't like that.
Admission
I chose this college because it was situated in my home state. I could not get any better college with IT or CS branch than MAIT so I chose this college also I didn't get any other college because I did not score much in JEE exam and that's why I got rejected from other colleges, so the admission process for this college is very simple. We have to apply for IPU counselling and 90% of the admissions are taken through JEE exam cut-off and other 10% are from management quota, which are dependent on boards percentage
Faculty
the faculty members of the college are quite good. The specialty to student ratio is about one is to 200 and they are very much approachable for any kind of help or doubt the faculty. I like the most is Mr Shashikant Pandey. He is our physics teacher and there is no such that I don't like there are two mid semester exams and an end semester exam, each semester and they are very easy and it is very easy to score good CGPA in them and I think most of the people passed the exam, nearly 5% of them may fail them
Night Life
Around the college is worst, the college situated on the outskirts of the city and there is no nightlife for college life. There is nothing for hangout near the college, so no night life or enjoyment near the college.
